A godsend!
I waited until my daughter was about four weeks old before I finally bought this, because I wasn't sure I could justify the cost (£30 for a pillow?! New parents will throw money at anything, right?). But OH MY WORD, I wish I'd got it sooner. Now instead of having to build a little tower of random sofa cushions on which to prop up baby, I just grab Boppy and can sit anywhere to breastfeed, and without getting a sore back and wrists (yeah, achey wrists and hands from holding a breastfeeding baby was not something I was warned about beforehand!!). In addition, my little one is getting to that age now where she wants to be upright and see what's going on, but doesn't quite have the strength to sit up on her own yet - the Boppy is also perfect for propping her up (only for very short periods, of course). I can see this pillow getting plenty of use beyond breastfeeding, both for baby to sit/lie on as she gets bigger, and for me as well (it makes a great back and neck support for sitting up in bed).To be fair, there are other cheaper brands available which look to be much the same as the Boppy, but never having used them I don't know if there's anything particularly special about this one which can justify the extra money. But it definitely works, and the cute design on the slip cover (which, by the way, is easy to remove and refit, washes well and dries quickly) was more to my taste than some of the other options.

Good breastfeeding pillow
Bought this about 2 weeks after my little one was born as I initially couldn't justify paying so much for a pillow. I should have bought it sooner as it made such a big difference to feeding times! Say bye to sore back, arms and wrist! My little one was was born on the smaller side so I initially had to place another pillow underneath the boppy to prop baby up a little higher to avoid my arms from getting too tired during feeding. If you are good enough you can support baby with one hand leaving your other hand free to do other things whilst feeding.Pillow seems comfortable enough as baby has fallen asleep on it several times during the longer feeds.I have also found it to be useful to prop up bottles when pumping. It would be nice if it came with addition covers however I have so far managed with just the one as the pillow case. I used a large muslin between baby and pillowwhen case is drying. As baby is growing it has been great for tummy times and when propping up when training how to sit.

Does the job just fine
Update: my baby is nearly 4 months old and has become too long and big for this pillow to be used comfortably now. I’m keeping to use to help with sitting up practice when baby is ready though. This pillow is nice and solid and holds its shape so baby stays in the same place. It does move around a bit as it doesn’t fasten around your back so sometimes I spend a bit of time rearranging it around me and rearranging baby on top of it. It mainly slides away from my stomach so I have to push/pull it back into a tighter fit so my baby doesn’t fall down/dip down into my stomach. You can also get very warm with this pillow and can only really do one style of breastfeeding (i.e. can’t do rugby style or side along). I found is great to use in the car to breastfeed and also on the sofa or sitting crosslegged on the floor or bed. My baby often falls asleep on it whilst I use it, so they find it comfy too! It’s definitely better than using an ordinary pillow but sometimes I need to prop one end up with a cushion as my hip isn’t enough.I also had to buy more cushion covers as this only comes with one and baby does spit up! Sadly you can’t buy more boppy cushion covers separately but there are other companies that sell covers that fit. The boppy cushion cover is lovely though and is so easy to put on.

Brilliant
Used it for breastfeeding my little one to begin with and it was so much easier then holding her in position. We are now formula feeding and this also is amazing to use. We've had it for 2 months, it's used all the time and it's showing no signs of getting flat. Washing the cover is really simple too.Highly recommended

Too small, rough material, hard
My first pillow was just from Next and I thought after 6 month I treat my baby and myself with a new pillow as the filling from the first pillow has deformed/collapsed after 6 month of use.Comparing to the pillow from Next, this pillow is more expensive. I am size 8 but it's still hard to put it around my waist and too small to support my active 6 months old. Cushioning is firmer but I guess it would make it a last longer. The material is more rough, the Next pillow's cover was made from very soft cotton. Unfortunately, I am returning this

Better for tummy time
I used this actually way more for tummy time than for nursing. Found it not really flat enough to lie baby on.

My favourite nursing pillow
Bought this pillow for my third baby and it's the best one I have had. It's a perfect size and firm making feeding sessions comfy for both of us.It's also great for the two big brothers to use when holding the little one and fab for tummy time.

Nice breastfeeding pillow
The cover comes off so you can wash it and its easy to put it back in the pillow which is great. I think it's good quality for breastfeeding, my sister had a similar boppy and she loved hers she even used it with her 2nd baby.
