It fits and work great!!

Even though it was supposed to fit "up to a 43 inch board", it was still a tight fit on a 42 in. board but I was able to get it on with some work.

I had looked a long time to find a cover to fit my hide away ironing board. It is exactly 12"x42" finally I found this one on Amazon, I read the reviews and decided to try it. It fits nicely and is great to iron on but it takes two strong people to stretch it enough to get it on. One more inch would have really been helpful. Yet I am happy to have a cover and pad that fit. I was very impressed with your 2 day shipping, wonderful convenience.

I was worried about this purchase because of the reviews I read and the fit problems some experienced. I received this and it fits my board perfectly. I have the exact type of ironing board shown in the picture on the cover of the package. If you can enlarge the photo, the board is not round in the back but has the corners cut. / \ I bought this built in board about 20 years ago at Lowes. So if you have this type, (measure twice :) ) you will not have a size problem.

I purchased two of these for our built-in ironing boards. They both measured smaller than the posted measurements so I thought they would fit great. One of the covers I couldn't even get on the board. I will be returning it. The other one I couldn't get on well enough to stay so I used a staple gun on the sides to secure it. I am not happy with this product. I would not buy these again.
