Riddles Knowledge Cards

Humorous and unique riddles may stump you for awhile. The whole family can enjoy them as a guessing game or entertainment in those spare moments.

looking for good brain teasing riddles to mull over in my downtime at work, but these were simple little things like "what gets wetter as it dries" and it would be ok if they were all that good. Most, however, could be attributed to multiple things when they are just not very fun or engaging.

Very strange and lame riddles, not the one where you can guess, but one where you should hear it before and remember the answer.. Don't like it.

Good transaction and product

This deck of cards inspires conversation and thought. Terrific family activity (we have kids ranging from elementary to high school). Even inspired our kids to make their own riddles. I think of them as visual riddles—quite hobbit-ish, if you’re familiar with Tolkien. I have this permanently on my “birthday gift idea” list.

I just recently obtained a deck of Mr. Williams riddles to use in my travels as a substitute teacher. So often, one will have a smidgen of time that isn't enough to start the next subject, but long enough for the natives to get restless. I was impressed with these riddles not only for the thinking they generate but also their poetic quality. Yesterday, I started the students off with a riddle to mull over and answer before recess. They couldn't wait to to start guessing. They were ready to provide evidence for their thinking as they answered and BEGGED for more. They're a big hit! These are going to work with me every day.
