Required for some applications, but terrible design
These are required for some led controllers and they are made sturdy with solid threads. They do NOT come with any screws however. The negative is that using them is a terrible design and there is no decorative plate in the design, so the edges show around the controller. I'm going to cut some small trim pieces to trim mine in, but wish the controller had a different design. If you have to have one though - these are good quality.

Works great and fits great with my ledenet controller
you need 2 machine (Metric) M4.7 x 30mm screws. It does not come with them and you can get them at Home Depot.Works great and fits great with my ledenet controller. The reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is because it should have came with the screws. I shouldn't have to trial and error screws in the middle of the isle at the hardware store when only 1 screw fits in the holes.

Creativity is key!
In the US we don't really use these boxes but I had a led dmx touchpad that needed it. Since the touchpad is a poor design and it’s exactly the same size as the box it makes no room for any type of error. To facilitate the situation I ended up using a 2 gang lutron screwless plate And cutting it to fit. Looks good to me!!

Non-standard sizing, will not self support on wall. ...
Non-standard sizing, will not self support on wall. Remodel install takes some drilling and creative skills. Otherwise, this is the only box that fits the LEDENET Touch Panels.

Great for what it is used for
I'm glad something like this exists or else I would have to find some work around to having a LED panel for my lights in my room.NOTE: It doesn't have any adhesive or way to have the LED panel stick to the Junction box. This means hot glue or super glue would have to be used.

I don't recommend but don't know of another choice
The box has no mounting options except for the two captured nuts in the built in standoffs. These are metric thread. The exterior of the box is actually larger than the controller that it was designed for. The tan box shows beyond the black band of the controller. In other words if mounted in Sheetrock and you don't use a razor knife to minutely trim the Sheetrock, but instead use a rotozip as normal procedure, you will have a nice visible gap around the controller which looks like a child installed it. The only way I can think of to install it cleanly is to mount it behind the wall finish, and rout out only the inside of the box, not the outside. This procedure however, is against code as I understand it. I am an electrical contractor.

Great little box
Great little box. Reviews said they hated it because you had to cut the hole perfectly to hide gaps. In my case I had access to the back of the wall so I was able to cut the hole large enough for the back of the LED panel but smaller than the face of the box. The panel had a bracket that screws into this box so I sandwiched the drywall between the bracket and the box. I also built a wood shim and secured the box to the nearest stud for added support. The LED panel snapped into the bracket and covered the edges perfectly with no gaps. Having access to the back side is going to be a rare case though. I suppose you could cut out a large hole above or below and fish the box down and mount it like I did in other cases. You need to fix the drywall after though. Someone really needs to sell an old work box with tabs that flip out.
