The real deal, not a fake carabiner
Great carabiner, not those cheap ones that can only hold 2 keys or an i.d. holder I found the same brand on a specialized sport store and the price was 3 times higher. I'll definitely get some more.

Looks solid. Rated. I'll test it out and report how it performs under load

Excellent build quality.
Very well made. No rough edges. Made in Taiwan. Photo attached for size reference.

Works fine, I thought it had a different type of mechanism
There seem to be 2 different kinds of locking carabiners; the kind with a threaded barrel that screws up and down the gate thus preventing it from opening, and the kind with a spring loaded barrel that has a notched cutout in the top of it that turns 90 degrees (against the spring) and allows the body of the carabiner to slide through the notched cutout on the barrel as the gate hinges open. This is the threaded barrel type. I don't need it for climbing, but for raccoon proofing my duck pen (I guess raccoons are smart enough to figure out how to use standard carabiners) holding latches shut, but something about the spinny motion is a little more complex and fools them. Hopefully these work!

Almost perfect
Purchased for climbing. I use this for my autoblock while on rappel. I purchased mostly for the size and weight. The BD positrons I own felt a little too large on the leg loop. As a previous poster said they screw-gate it a bit.....chunky. It feels like an aluminum composite that isn't well milled. That would be the best thing Metolious could improve. The weight and feel are great.

Quality Carabiner. Well worth the price!
Very solid carabiner! The lock works exactly as it should with very little play. I use it for holding/hauling gear so I can't say I've truly tested the strength limits on it. No more than maybe 20lbs but even at that weight I never felt concerned that the carabiner was stressed at all. Even the finish has held up well; barely any signs of wear after a few months of daily use and handling.

Great product for carrying around the keys
Great product for carrying around the keys. With the locking feature you don't have the worry about them falling off or someone coming up and taking them off of your belt loop.

My old carabiner broke because it was a rather flimsy and cheap one. This one on the other hand is quite hefty and durable. I bought it for work, because I use it to carry around a sizable keyring (15+ keys).
