Ridiculously high quality at a very fair price.
I had been using Ronson "ultra premium" (the black canisters) in my Cartier electronic ignition lighter (circa 1993) that my wife picked up and had fully restored and engraved to me as well as in my Matco butane torch soldering kit, which I've owned for around 10 years and use almost every day. With the Ronson fuel, which actually cost more than the Vector quintuple refined fuel, I kept my lighter set to 3/4 of the way up and my soldering torch at a minimum of 2/3 to full flow depending on the heat level I required for the work I was doing at the time. I ran through about a refill a day on my lighter, smoking around a pack and a half a day, and got around 40 minutes to an hour of use on the Matco torch depending on how I had it set. When I received the box of Vector fuel I was shocked to see that each canister is around the size of a can of hair spray, where the Ronson fuel I had been using came in the standard small can that you see in stores, I'm estimating it might be 1/4 the size of the Vector canister. I bled my torch and lighter completely empty, as recommended in the instructions on the Vector canisters, then refilled both items - my lighter took 15 seconds to fill, compared to 30 with the Ronson, and I found that it produced a larger flame when set to 3 clicks above minimum fuel flow than it did previously at 75% flow. The Matco took around 25 seconds to fill compared to around a minute and functions so much better it's unreal. 1/4 fuel flow is more than enough for my normal work and just below half flow is comparable to full flow with the old fuel. It lasts for around 3 hours of use now at the lower setting and roughly 2 hours at the higher. I haven't had any reason to turn it past halfway, even when using it as an actual torch without a soldering tip on it.In the end, for around the same price as other supposed "ultra premium" fuels, you get a canister that's 4-5 times larger and the highly refined fuel has made every butane fueled item I've tried with it work at least twice as well as they did previously and require refills less than half as much. You can't go wrong with the Vector Quintuple, it's well worth the price and actually ends up being a much better value than cheaper fuel due to the canister size. It outperforms every type of butane charge I've tried over the years by a huge margin - give it a try, even if you only order one can to test, I can just about guarantee you'll toss your old fuel and order a good quantity of Vector to have on hand.

Great so far!
Shipped quick, and got here in great condition. Seems to be great for my torch. No issues and I’ll definitely buy this again.

The best butane
I have gone through numerous lighters over the years. Some cheap novelty lighters and some high-end, expensive lighters. I used Colibri brand fuel for the longest time and I would be frustrated that it seemed no matter the quality of lighter, I could not get one to last more than about a year. I figured a manufacturer of quality lighters would only put their label on a high-quality fuel. But after being frustrated by so many lighters getting "clogged" I tried upgrading my fuel. I moved to Xikar brand fuel which seemed to be a bit higher quality. Still I could not find a lighter that would not get "clogged" eventually, regardless of the quality and price of the lighter. I had resigned myself to just buying cheap gas station lighters. If they were going to be useless in a year, why spend the money on an expensive one?The symptoms were always the same. The torch would sputter and struggle to ignite and stay lit. Or for non wind-proof lighters, they would eventually just stop lighting. A purge and fresh fill would not fix it. I threw away a lot of nice lighters over the years.Fast forward to about 6 months ago. I stumbled upon a comment online about using ultra-refined fuel to keep lighters operational for year. I went searching and found this Vector 14x fuel for a good price on Amazon. I figured I would go ahead and give it a shot as I needed some new fuel anyway.I purged and filled my first lighter. I probably spent < $10 on it when I was travelling and forgot to bring one. It was working fine, just needed some fuel. The first thing I noticed is that I had to turn the adjuster down. What was providing a good flame with my previous fuel was way too intense with this Vector fuel. Impressive. I grabbed another lighter that was on its last legs. It was a decent lighter (Xikar I think) and it would only stay lit for a couple seconds of sputtering. I purged and filled it. Let it rest and gave it a go. It sputtered, but it ignited. And it stayed lit. As I kept it lit, amazed that it wasn't dying, I could watch as the clogged jet openings opened up and the flame got stronger and stronger. After going through maybe 1/4 a tank, the lighter was functioning like a lighter is supposed to. This fuel brought that lighter back to life. For the next hour I hunted down all of my favorite lighters that I could not bring myself to part with even though they wouldn't work. Colibri's, Lotus, etc. And every single one was coaxed back to life with this fuel. I am a convert. I think back to all of the nice lighters I ended up tossing out of frustration that this fuel may have been able to save. I will never go back to using a lower quality fuel. This stuff is amazing. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

Easy to use
I had never used anything like this and was hesitant. Very easy. I use this to refill my mini torch. I go outside or in my garage with door open. Four cannisters will last a long time, and seemed a good value. My mini torch functions great...no clogging thanks to the ultra refinement. The flame stays hot enough to do silver annealing and soldering. So far I have used the torch several times, each for 15 minutes continuously, and did not have to stop for a refill. I did have to refill before each use, though. My refills are only about 10 to 15 seconds long before I see liquid oozing out. I stop at that point. Seems like a good value. BTW, you can buy the mini torches almost anywhere, but the stores never have the right gas to fill them. Never. Employees confuse propane for butane which have caused some "wild goose chases." Having extras saves money, and also time going from store to store to find the gas.

Have been and will remain a Vector guy
I mean... It really is the best butane on the market, in my experience. I pretty much only run Vector through any quality torch I've ever had, and it's never let me down. If you're the type to get cheaper butane thinking it's pretty much the same thing... I mean, you're right. But you'd be surprised at what a difference that "pretty much" can be with something as simple as butane. Lasts longer, burns cleaner and more completely, and has zero issues sparking up after a fresh refill on pretty much anything, from small lighters, to larger hand torches, and especially if you're using it as a solvent for something like essential oil extraction. Give Vector a try. It will not disappoint.
