WaringCommercial CAC32 Glass Container with Blade Assembly and Lid, 40-Ounce

I bought this jug to replace the jug of my 20 year old blender.The price to buy from the USA was far more attractive than UK prices - maybe £60 for the USA jug vs approx. £150-200 for the UK oneNothing wrong with the glass jug & lid, but it was not clear that the fitting at the base of the jug would not fit my Waring motor.Luckily my husband managed to remove the blades/fittings from my old blender jug & fit them onto the new one.I contacted Waring customer services twice & had no reply from them.

I was delighted to be able to replace the glass capsule of my Waring, but very relieved I hadn’t thrown away the broken one, as I had to use the connecting screw and entire blade assembly from my old unit as the replacement was entirely different. Swapping over the blade assembly wasn’t so easy either, with counter screw etc. Beware. But these devices are worth it. Nutribullet? Pah!

The jug is identical in every way to my damaged version, except it is completely useless, the fitting on the bottom is completely different so will never work with my base unit, and now I have to send it all back.(I have bought one before successfully, so this was unexpected, and very annoying.)
