Shockingly effective!
Absolutely brilliant if you have a fell optiplex 7040 without Wi-Fi. I literally plugged it into the USB slot and no other action required. Wi-Fi networks immediately visible. Speed of wifi as it should be. Love it!!! Worth it! It even came with a disk drive!!!

Good Device.
When I first built my PC around 10 years ago I had a tiny little WiFi dongle. It wasn’t great to begin with.Over those 10 years I’ve upgraded my PC a couple of times and also had newer WiFi routers. Anyway the one I had wasn’t really up to the task anymore and was slowing my connection down because of its age.I saw this one, read some reviews and decided to purchase one.Delivery was really quick. It’s a well designed device, looks awesome, good strong connection and speeds. The setup was really easy too.Highly recommended for those who don’t want to spend a lot but want a decent device.

Overall good product
It immediately fixed the issues I was having in relation to my network. It creates a second network and duplicates the signal. However if I sometimes bump into it, it makes my computer blue screen and restart. And after a while of use, it sometimes takes a small bit of time to detect WiFi networks. Overall good price, good design.

Super & does the job!
Fantastic! I was suggested to get this for my daughters gaming PC so we didn’t need to use an Ethernet cable and golly does it do the job! Fast connection, neat and easy to use & adjustable too. Fantastic price for how good th product actually is. Thank you!

Fixes the issue
Have an old Dell e6420 laptop that I’ve set up with a dock to use with a larger monitor and keyboard etc. Weirdly, when the laptop is closed (which is precisely what it is supposed to be when docked), the wifi speed drops to 120kbps download, which is unusable. This little antenna fixes that issue by plugging into a USB port on the dock. For the price, it feels well made. The USB end is a tiny bit chunky, so neighbouring USB slots may be tight, but that aside, it is great value for money and works flawlessly with a 13 year old laptop running Windows 10.I disabled the internal wifi antenna via control panel which lets this connect by default.

Not great speeds, but adequate after installing dedicated drivers
Liked that it was very much 'plug and play' with Windows 10, being able to find and connect to my WiFi straight away. However, I was very nearly about to send it back, as the connection was typically going <1 Mbps or dropping entirely, so even downloading the 49 Mb driver file of the website was painful and even stopped itself at one point! This is in comparison to having no issues with speed through USB tethering to my phone connected to my WiFi, so it was definitely the dongle having issues. Prior to this I used to have ethernet and received up to 300 Mb/s, and though I know not to expect anywhere near this using a WiFi dongle, I had hoped for something usable!Proceeded to install the dedicated drivers for the device hoping this would fix the issue. Fortunately, although the speeds aren't brilliant, they are now usable at around 20 Mbps+, even getting up to 45 Mbps at one point when downloading some Steam game updates, so for little more than a tenner I'm happy enough for the time being, although it is nowhere near the advertised capability of 200 Mbps.

Worth it
Works great. We’ve got a basement with 2 bedrooms, one of which has the non antenna version and this one. We get about a 20% stringer signal with this so it’s worth the extra few pounds to me. No signal dropouts and didn’t have to manually install drivers. However, instructions are included should you need to.

rubbish
got this as an "upgrade" to an old WIFI 5 no brand name dongle i got from amazon a while back for a fraction of the price. The old dongle outperformed this one easily in every single area.. ping, download speed and upload speed on MULTIPLE tests and even dropped out once or twice under test.... which the old cheap one has never done.returning instantly.
