Great Looking Display Yet Okay Quality Of Ferrofluid
I was anticipating a high quality product after purchasing cheaper ferrofluid displays before. Unfortunately my item was defective the moment I unwrapped it from the bubble wrap. It was covered in the clear, sticky carrier fluid. Even though this item has more ferrofluid than most displays on the market, the quality of the ferrofluid was okay. The ferrofluid easily breaks up with or without magnetization causing floating black particles that takes away from how amazing feerofluid can be. Perhaps the ferrofluid is softer quality? Maybe I just got a bad one but I’ll be returning this item and getting a refund.

Low quality ferrofluid
I requested and received this item as a Christmas gift. I was very excited to play with it on Christmas but unfortunately the ferrofluid is of low quality and the iron bits quickly separate from the fluid, causing the water to have a cloudy quality that does not go away. I thought leaving it for a while would allow the iron and fluid to re-assimilate, but it has been a few weeks and iron quickly disperses after playing with it for a short while. I have another ferrofluid display that works perfectly, I assume because the ferrofluid is actually formulated properly with iron nanoparticles and high quality oil. Seems that the manufacturer cheaped out on the ingredients for this one. I would maybe pay $15-$20 for this product. MAYBE. Save your money.

Really Really cool!
This is awesome little desktop item. Grandchildren love it. The magnet makes different shapes is easy to play with for different designs. I saw this on Rachel Ray and had to go buy one, so glad I did.
