Bought and tried this for myself and my adult autistic son for the first time. It is the first time we have ever attempted to make pulled pork before. The mix was so simple to use, all I had to do was measure out 300ml cold water then tip in the mixture and mix well (i used a whisk to do this but you could easily use a fork or spoon). Placed my pork joint inthe bottom of my slow cooker (i used a pork shoulder as the pack said to use a shoulder or leg joint) then poured all of the mixture over the joint, then place the lid on. On the packet they advised to put it on to cook for either 4 hours on medium heat or 8 hours on slow, I chose to put ours on the slow option. Once it was done I used 2 forks to pull the pork while it was still in the slow cooker with the sauce. I had mine in wholemeal slightly toasted rolls, my son had white crusty rolls, we put some baby spinach in the rolls too and then put some leafy salad with piccolo cherry tomatoes, baby cucumber sticks and avocado cubes. It was absolutely STUNNING! My son loved it too and wants to make it one of our staple meals from now on, so it is a winner from me if my son likes it that much!

I was keen to try this, but actually found it a bit bland compared to doing a BBQ version myself. But that's maybe personal preference. Easy to use though and it got eaten all the same.
