Does this have to attach to the door or can you just open the door and pull it out on its own?

Can this product be configured to open in either direction?

Is the depth absolute? My cabinets are original and shallow at only 18.25" deep, can this be slightly adjusted and used?

Can the first baskets rotate out with a stove that sticks out 3" past the front of the cabinet door? It is right next to the blind corner cabinet.
