Notch 200' 3mm Neon Plus & 14oz Throweight Combo Set

The line slides smooth over most barks I have encountered, some small issues with a maple and its peeling bark but that was more on the weight being snagged up a little.. the Weight is sturdy and seems well built.. have had others where the stitching or material failed. Very pleased with the line and weight. The weight shoots out of my air cannon very well when used.

Bag slid over branches and through brush without snagging.Made of Cordura so it should last a long time, and sewing seems very adequate.Small diameter rope has a tight weave and doesn't snag up either, and it's surprizingly strong. The accuracy depends on the thrower, but the shape and feel of the bag and line are great.

I got this weight and throw line set for an incredible deal only $20.I fly FPV drones and I frequently crash and get stuck in trees. This throwline kit is perfect for getting my drone back. I just throw the weight over the tree and tug on the line to shake the branches my drone is stuck in. I've gotten my drone stuck in a tree around 14 times or so and each time I was able to get it back with this throw line kit.Great price for drone tree insurance!

I had to get a rope over a branch which was at 35’. It took me about 10 tosses since I never did this before. The rope and weight are excellent and the rope is very strong.Some people complained that the rope tangled or had knots. Do your homework! I watched 3 or 4 YT vids by arborists and how keep your line. First unravel they entire spool while working out all the kinks. Then do it again. As you pull it through your hand let it drop into a 5 gal. bucket randomly. Do not coil it! I tossed it up 10 times and it never once kinked.I find that Amazon reviews can be misleading at times because buyers never read the entire description and fine print. Also if you’ve never used a specific tool before go on YT and learn how to use it.This throwing line was flawless. It didn’t take much effort to get the 14 oz weight up 35 ft. My guess is I could have gone 50 ft and I’m 68 and throwing lines over tree branches is not my profession.

What I ordered was "SherrillTree SET91 Throweight Set Throw Line Combo, 14 o.z, Orange" and what I received was a NOTCH Combo Kit consisting of a NOTCH 14 oz throw weight and 200 feet of 3 mm NOTCH throw line as shown in the photo. The NOTCH products are perfect and work as intended. Very good quality, both the weight and line are Made in USA. The line does not fray when rubbing against tree bark and the weight appears to be durable and very well made comfortably sustaining repeated falls of 50 feet or more. The only reason for the 4-star rating is the mismatch between what I ordered and what I received. Very satisfied with the NOTCH products.

The throw line and weight came delivered as advertised. The line is a bit thicker than the one I use, and as others have stated, I like it better because it doesn’t dig into my hands as easily. The weight was well made and the line was smooth and easy to work with. I spent a few hours with the two items and a gnarly, limby Loblolly pine tree this morning and - you get what you pay for. Super pleased and worth the extra few bucks over other brands on Amazon.

I just received my Notch 14 oz. throweight with the 200' spool of throwline. I spent all afternoon throwing the Notch 14 oz. throweight up into a 40 foot tree ... with plenty of misses landing directly on pavement. There is absolutely no sign of fatigue on the seams. The Notch 14 oz. throweight is a great product. It's slim design travels through small clustered branches with relative ease. It's tough exterior withstands severe punishment with no signs of fatigue at the seams. I highly recommend the Notch 14 oz. throweight. BTW: I had previously purchased a Forester 15 oz. throweight (which I returned) and it's seams split open within 10 minutes of use. The Notch 14 oz. throweight was its welcomed replacement and will be in my arborist's tool bag for a very long time.

We took down over 50 trees on our property and used this for at least 35 of them . Easy to hit you branch once you’ve done it a few times.
