It's a good tape measure, however be aware that because of the laser parts it is quite heavy, Also, I would've been more keen on pressing the button to hold the tape in place, rather than pressing it to release. I appreciate this design decision was likely done so that the user wouldn't need to hold down the button, but pressing to release means you're relying on the auto-breaking mechanism which... works some times better than other. All in all, it's a good product and I'd recommend it, though be aware of the above.

Nice tool to have. Only downside is the tape lock button doesn't really good the tape well but I guess the laser option would be used more anyway.

The build quality of the the product itself is good and i found it intuitive enough to work my way around how to use it without going through the instructions, even though I later did read them.The laser measurement seems fairly accurate for an average reading and you have the analogue tape rule to confirm the exact measurement where precision is required.

I’m definitely not a DIY person but this item is just great to have. Can’t say anything about battery life etc, but otherwise it feels solid and very straightforward to use, well thought through

The tape measure seems like it's sturdy enough, which is pretty rare these days.Most manufacturers of tape measures seem to use the minimal amount of metal to retain the coil spring, resulting in the spring snapping within a few hours of use, and stick it in a cheap ill-fitting plastic mold held with a single screw, and a stinky sticky rubber grip on the outside. Those meters are sold at disposable prices, and barely last long enough to reach a bin. Seems like it's hard for a quality product to compete against such bargain basement rubbish.This tape measure is significantly higher quality, so far. It's not perfect - the lock isn't quite strong enough to stop the coil spring from gradually pulling the tape back - but it's more substantial than most.The laser measure is a bit more of a novelty. Unless you're measuring perpendicular wall to wall, it's a bit of a gimmick. It's hard to aim just right and the rear edge doesn't seem flat enough to give you confidence that you're getting a good measure in awkward spots.The result is a reasonable quality tape measure which is heavier, due to batteries, and bulkier due to laser measure, than it could be if it was just a high quality tape measure.

Good quality and easy to use

I bought this thinking it was a digital tape measure which it is not, its a laser distance finder with a tape measure. I have a tape measure and I have laser measuring tool, quality feels ok but isn't what I was looking for, supplier would do well to state that it is not a digital tape measure and that the digital measure is not associated with the tape measure
