I think it is faux leather. It didn't have that leather smell when we opened it.

If I use this as a crash/silencing pads for weight lifting - will it work? will it last? (olympic lifting)

I wouldn't use them for that. They probably wouldn't last long.

GoSports Blocking Pad

I purchased a GoSports blocking pad to use while I train my son at basketball. He's a decent player but needs to up his aggressive play on the court. I tried it out about one hour after it was delivered. I'm impressed with the quality and the effectiveness of the pad. Very firm with many grip options. More durable than I expected. It was the perfect remedy for our training sessions. I give this product a 10 out of 10 and I'm looking forward to using it the next time we train.

N'as rien a envier au autre marques. C'est un très bon produit, très solide et d'une belle fermeté. J'ai qu'il y est des sangles sur les coté cela aide beaucoup au maintient, les autres marques que j'ai essayer n'en avait pas, c'est un beau plus.
