I installed it today, and I uninstalled it today. I bought it simply to print my own checks. That's it. Nothing more. I would have been fine had that been the only feature that actually worked. But it did not. I got through the check design steps with no problem. I found it odd there was no actual 'save' button for the design I created. Somehow it managed to save the template I designed. Here is where it all fell apart. Each template prints a little differently, north, south, east, west of the paper perforations. The adjustment tool is pre-guess work, totally in the blind. 9 checks, 3 to a page and I finally got one to line up. When I went to create my second design, none of the first adjustments applied and I was right back were I stated, wasting paper. I have been in Information Technology for 35 years. I know when to 'cut and run'. Not worth the aggravation. Oh, and it stopped responding and hung twice. No, nothing is wrong with my PC, its the Checksoft software.

I recently upgraded to Windows 7 and needed a new check writing program to work with Quicken. I ordered Checksoft since VersaCheck was no longer available at reasonable price. The copy I received was version 13 which will NOT work with Quicken 2014. I can print checks through Checksoft (nowhere near as straight forward as it should be) but have to enter them into Quicken by hand.

At the time I purchased the Checks Personal Pack, I also purchased this Checksoft Personal Deluxe. They go hand-in-hand and work perfect together, along with my financial software "Quicken Home and Business" Highly recommend these products to others. I will never go back to purchasing all ready made boxed checks or deposits again.

Nothing about this product is intuitive. This was a pain to load onto my computer (did not launch so I had to do it all manually). Then I had to fumble through getting everything set up only to have it not allow me to select the one box I needed to click to actually print a check. I missed the return window (my bad) so I just threw away $30.

Software is better than older versions, but still quirky. That said, it is nice to design your own checks (you can even import jpgs of your prized pics right onto your checks) and customize fonts and positioning on the check. Remove or add your phone number as the need is appropriate. NEVER run out of checks/have to pay for anything more than your paper supplies. Can set up for multiple accounts too! Great for the whole family. Since most of us use debit cards and autopay, I have not needed to replensh the template paper for several years now. Just buy a 900 count box of the check template paper and fogettabout it!

I purchased this item and when it arrived the disc was blank. After several attempts to install this problem and more than an hour on the phone with someone I could not understand from there support staff, they want my BLOOD to prove I purchased a $19 product, How to show a reciept for a product purchased on line was a real challenge,Thinking I had sent them every thing they had asked for, I waited for a responce from there support team. I only recieved daily email offers for me to purchase a new program "on sale" at the price I paid at Amozon.I decided to try contacting them again and was told they needed more BLOOD. After several attempt I finally got them what they wanted. I was told they had recieved a shipment of disc that came out blank in the packages.I had purchased the program to update my Checksoft Program after 5 years.Next time I think I will try another program rather than taking a chance at wasting several hours of time trying to correct THERE problems.

Easy to use so far! Keeping track of checking and savings accounts!

The last time I needed cheques, I ordered them from my bank. With tax and delivery, it ended up costing me over $30 for 15! A friend of mine told me about these and I ordered them immediately. The software is simple and easy to install and use, and the cheques print out just as nice as anything I could order from my bank. If you have a printer at home, and you still use cheques from time to time, or on a regular basis, I recommend that you stop wasting money and print your own. Your bottom line will be better for it.
