Decent sounding speaker, absolute bargain.
Switch it on and a lo-fi voice announces "Bluetooth Mode On". The voice is a bit annoying, but I guess money was saved by not indicating such things by visual display. Indeed Bluetooth was easy to set up (well, only difficulty was with the Windows7 Laptop, not fault of speaker."Aux Mode On" is only a button press away. Works as expected, and the provision of a volume control helps too, although the button presses to achieve it need a look at the manual.Sound is perfect for spoken word, very clear. That's what it was bought for and my partner is delighted with it.For music it's ok, good and clear without the extra noise that seems to plague some other speakers. Not "loud", but loud enough."FM Radio".... I didn't try, don't think it will work without an arial. Also I didn't try SD Card or USB, there's obviously not a good interface to select tracks for playing.Takes a reassuringly long time to charge, a few hours. My partner is still trying to work out battery life, but we're confident it's over 10 hours. (As for all such batteries, we charged it before using then for the first few cycles let it run down before re-charging)The onboard voice tells you when the battery is low. There's no other way to know the condition of the battery. Was very pleasantly surprised to get such a good piece of gear for the low price.

Software spoils hardware
This little speaker is pretty good. The sound quality isn't groundbreaking but it does an admirable job with such small drivers and avoids being overtly "tinny", so whilst you won't be able to use this for critical listening (and why would you?) It's clear enough and loud enough for a small to medium sized room. The styling is cute and though it wouldn't pass for a high end piece of furniture, it looks good from a distance (so long as you ignore the rather utilitarian control panel.) The controls are a little hard to decipher at first and all the instructions you do get are printed on the outside of the box, but it's very simple to use and the Bluetooth connects up easily enough with my android phone. The thing that I really do not like, and I wish I had been made more aware of before purchasing, is the voice notices the speaker uses to warn you of low battery or a change of input. The voice quality is poor, it loudly announces the speaker is in Bluetooth mode every single time you turn it on, and when the battery is low, it interrupts your music ever 30 seconds to tell you to charge it. And by low, I mean 20% remaining. So yes, you might get however many hours of use the manufacture states, but the last 1/5th you'll want to throw the cute little speaker out of the window. Though this doesn't completely ruin it for me, it does make it feel cheap and badly executed, which is a shame. That said, it's not expensive, it's wireless most of the time, and you can chuck it in the back of the car to go to the park and not have a barbeque with your friends because of social distancing. It's probably worth the money, but if someone can come up with a way to update the internal software to kill the voice alerts, I'd happily buy one again.

Stylish retro and great sound in a small box
On first opening this retro looking speaker I was amazed by its looks. The retro look is a real head Turner but with the added phone holder I can have my music playing with videos all in one place. I was told it doesn't support tablets but with a little fiddling I got it to hold an old 10 inch tablet it's not ideal but i prefer the larger screen to select songs/videos and it keeps my phone free. The sound is loud and bassy and for such a small device and price point I was really happy and amazed. Great for background noise even a small party.

Very disappointing
OK so it is plastic and very light. Not a good sign. The music quality is reasonable. BUTThere were no instructionsThe mini USB cable plug was bentThe idea you can sit your phone on top of it is laughable as it just picks up interference from the mobile phone signalWould I buy this again, no chance. You're better off spending an extra tenner for something decent.

Efficient and stylish
Stylish looking, nice and easy to transport, small enough to go anywhere in the house and yet good loud sound. Easy and fast to charge. Once fully charged lasts a long time untill charging again is needed. Easy to connect to mobile and tablet devices. Very good for the price.

Great Sound
arrived as promised packaging scrunched in one corner but actual speaker undamaged. Sounds are good enough for me and for the price I'm delighted all round, it looks good where it is situated and have received many admiring comments re looks and sounds from others!!

Nice device but baffling.
The plus side is that the sound quality is better than my phone and its inexpensive. On the minus side it I do not think it came with any instructions. It can disconnect from bluetooth and appear to have failed- so this started out as a one star review. It became a four star review when I found that it needed to be disconnected from the phone and reconnected. It is fairly quiet which is fine for me. All device messages are at full volume. Messages are given when it is switched on or the battery is low- so if you leave it on at night without power it may wake you to say that its battery is low.

NO INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED
I cannot provide a review as I have no idea how to use this. Item arrived in its box with two attachments and no information how to utilise it. Will have to return this unless someone in my local electrical shop can help. Absolutely disgraceful.
