The Bird-XPeller Pro Electronic Bird Preventer is extraordinary! It worked well beyond my expectations. We have a wonderful multi-trunk tree in the backyard that attracts lots of birds at dusk and through the night. They leave bird droppings on the bark, branches, rocks, bushes, brick pavers, and furniture below the tree. The mess needed to be cleaned almost daily. I bought the Bird-XPeller hoping it would help. The instructions said it could take month to work. After the first night, there was no more mess. The birds stayed away. I kept it running all day every day for a few weeks, then shifted it to only run at night per the instructions. I changed up the calls last week, again per the instructions. 6 weeks later and it continues to work wonders. Well worth the investment! Thank you for your fantastic product!

UPDATE: EVEN THOUGH THE WARRENTY said 6mths, a year later they still covered it. The customer service rep went through a bunch of trouble shooting on the phone. When that didn't work she sent me a free shipping label for them to fix or replace the unit f or free. THIS COMPANY STANDS BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT. They sent me a new one and it works as intended. Thank you to the BirdX team........ORIGINAL MESSAGE: We bought this to keep birds away from our pool. It worked great for Summer & Fall of 2022. Brought it in for the winter so it wouldn't get damaged. It is April 16th, 2023 and I set it up outside and it won't work. I try resetting, looking at the trouble shooting part of the instructions (which leaves a lot to be desired). Nothing!! Warranty is only good for 6mths and this is an expensive product. I'll try calling the company Bird X, but can't believe this lasted only last Summer & Fall. If they actually help out, I'll update this posting.

It worked wonderfully for us. We have 25 blueberry bushes planted fairly close together in one area in direct sunlight and the berries always grow; but in past years the birds ate 90% of them and we only got a few quarts.The birds (blue jays, black birds (with yellow and orange under their wings), robins, even crows) were there early in the morning when we got up and we would chase them away, but they kept coming back. Some of the birds (the blue jays) would even land on the bushes next to us last year when we were picking berries.But this year within a few days of setting up the Bird-X BirdXPeller Pro the birds started leaving. The last to leave were a few Robins (who must have been near deaf), but after a few weeks they left also.I set the unit up about 20 feet from the berries. I changed the predator prey calls twice during the season and I only had it turned on about half volume. We have about five acres, three quarters of it is treed, and I only set it loud enough to cover the cultivated acre. So the noise wasn't loud enough to bother our neighbour, but the birds heard it, as we hoped they would.We definitely are very pleased with the results. We filed a freezer with our berries this year.

This device took care of the problem in 24 hours... unbelievable.I’ve had an 8-year battle in April-May each year with grackle colonies that drop hundreds of fecal sacs into my pool, around my pool, and on my green sport court.In the past, I ran nylon cord lines and hung reflective owls and scare tape. This helped, but I couldn’t hang these lines high enough to fully deter the grackles from dropping their fecal sacs on my property.The BirdXPeller removed 99.9% of the poop-dropping activity within 24 hours. I’m absolutely amazed by this device and would highly recommend it.Here’s the formula that worked for me:- placed the device close to the problem area (I have a one acre lot) and connected it to a timer to operate 6a until 930p... I like this better than the Day/Night setting built into the device so I can have it emitting sounds just before the suns come up, and slightly after it sets- I used 2 sounds at a time, rotating between 4 sounds (blackbird distress call, grackle distress call, predator 1 sound, and predator 2 sound)- each afternoon, I would switch up the sounds to keep the birds guessing- each evening, I would move the device to a different area (I used a total of 4 areas)- I also hung some reflective owls (bought on Amazon for $15 / 4 pack) to create some movement and reflection- and I pressure washed my concrete each day for 5 days to remove the fecal sacs.... if you read up on grackles, they are attracted to the scent of their own feces, so daily removal also helps to break their pattern of dropping fecal sacs on your property. It took me an hour the first day due to the number of fecal sacs, and then 5-10 minutes each subsequent day.I’m going to keep this device running another few weeks to ensure no grackles come back to their old habits, but after an 8-year battle and then seeing this device deter the grackles away from my property, I can say with 100% confidence that this is a must-have if you have a grackle problem.On a side note, when I plugged this device in for the first time, I had to run. 50+ grackles swarmed the area around the device the very first time they heard the grackle distress call, and then for the following couple of hours each time it sounded. They lost their minds. After that, they just stayed away from it entirely. But it was obvious that the grackles were reacting directly to this device.Outstanding... could not be happier with this device.

This is a nicely engineered and a solid bit of electronics. It works- and emits sounds - at up to a really irritating level. The features where you can vary sounds and timing work very well. It is just that for my application- pigeons roosting in my large metal shed, it does not work.It may work for you and your circumstance- but it does not work for me

The product works as it's described, but ultimately didn't keep the birds off of my fruit trees. I ran it the whole season with various times and calls, but ultimately always had birds in the trees eating the fruit. Some of the settings may have reduced the birds, but it certainly didn't solve the problem. Ultimately I got rid of the unit (which was likely annoying the neighbors) and replaced with with a air dancer which has solved the problem.
