My little dog loves this. It has a good amount of gravy and has vegetable bits. I add no salt green beans to all her meals. She is a voracious eater.

This product is a great value. My dog loves it and, I have subscribed for home delivery of this product for 1 1/2 years.

My 8 year old dog beagle mix in a matter of weeks is a different dog . More lively, runs longer easier, fur is softer ,less scooting . Lost some weight and got his waist back.The cost differential is worth it and not so bad now that Beneful is so expensive. Vet recommended because his anal gland is always full. It worked. Plus all the other noticeable positive changes. Plus he loves it and is happy.and excited to eat it. I use Sci Diet regular dry food with this 2 Tb as a topper. He loves it. We’re calling him “mighty dog” now as he runs so much when he used to stop after a minute. This has glucosamine too . I switched my cats to Sci Diet too wet and dryand they re coats are more beautiful than ever and love it Worth the money to me.

I gave this 3 star because I have received before no problems, but this time the food appeared dried out.- You should know that this is a non-refundable item on Amazon. If you get a bad batch you will need to contact customer service and send a picture of the food. If this had been the first time getting this variety, I would not have known it was off.- I get a case every 3 weeks so I am familiar with the product. Normally the Perfect Weight Hearty Vegetables and Chicken stew has a more liquid consistency (more gravy) and is darker brown. I also get another variety (sensitive stomach) that does have a thicker consistency.- This time the Perfect Weight food was congealed into a thick paste and was lighter in color. If I turn the can upside down, it stays in the can.Expiration date is 1/2026 Code on bottom of can is T510545 340 28224- Via Amazon, there is no way to report the problem other than leave a review. I also contacted Hills, and am waiting for a reply.14 March 2023 Update:1. Got another case and it was fine. Attached photo of good can.2. Hills requested pictures of bad and good cans. Standard - "will share with department" response.3. Hills stated "Canned products that have become congealed can be the result of exposure to very cold temperatures for an extended period of time during transportation and distribution", but this was more than just congealed. It looked lighter and dryer also. They told me to return rest if I wanted a refund, but I had already thrown it out.4. Updated review to 4 stars.PLEASE contact Hills if you had a similar experience, so this gets tracked.

Since dog food is up to the dog, I made a good choice. I add a little to the portion of Hills Sci.Diet i/d low fat one Vet prescribed to help stretch cost and rations, prescribe&save was the way to go. This one I receive every other month, low fat Chick.Rice I get every month. Works out well. M
