Refresh rate is slow
Installed on 01 Honda Rebel (wasted spark ignition). The unit looks nice but as others have mentioned, the refresh is slow on this tach and it's not recommended for fast revving applications. The tach face is not movable separate from the mount meaning you must mount it the way you want the face of the tach to display, you cannot adjust it like some other gauges.Wiring is as follows:Black/yellow (bullet connect): Tach signalBlack (bullet connect) B+ "positive switch"Green (bullet connect) Ground/NegativeBlack (no connector) Ground/NegativeRed (no connector) positive

For high rpm bikes.
It didn't come with any wiring instructions, just what's in the description. When I finally got all the wires hooked up the backlight pulsed to the motor rotations as the needle fluttered. I had a mechanic help me wire it in. You'll end up needing a tach adjuster/In line diode if you have it on more than a one cylinder engine. I wouldn't put it on big bikes that don't rev very high.

Not very accurate, looks nice.
Ehhh, seems to not be very accurate but it does work on my 1977 Kawasaki. Looks nice and lights are bright tho.
