The book covers all the possible topics relevant to Geoenvironmental engineering and provides detailed explanation on each topic. Book contains good example problems for each chapter which help to apply what is learnt in the chapter.

TONS of errors! Not only in the material but all across the practice problems. Every class, the professor hands out a sheet to highlight the errors in the reading/assignment. Honestly, I don't know why he chose to use this book with so many glaring errors. I'm sure this book probably has good material, but that's all pretty much pointless if everything is incorrect...

It is acceptable but it is not new, it is used.I thought it will be new.

The book is excellent. As it is a relatively new field, it manages to bring the context in which it was developed, the concepts involved, the main lines of work, and what has being developed ( concepts and technologies). In addition, it brings practical examples and exercises that help to deeply understand the topics covered.
