Comfortable Topper, Feels Cool, and Adds Cushion to our Mattress
I've lived with lower lumbar pain since college, following a sports injury (almost twenty years ago). I recently purchased a new mattress to try and help my back but my fiance found it a bit too firm to sleep on (she is a stomach sleeper). We purchased this topper and it made an immediate difference for her. It feels luxurious and provides enough cushioning to reduce the firmness of the mattress surface for both of us. Given the price point, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the topper. It doesn't feel scratchy, or make noise when you move around on it.I also usually always find the bed too warm, especially when the heat is turned up in wintertime, but this didn't make the bed feel any warmer for me, (My fiance feels it is warmer and cosier. Having spent a lot of my working life staying in good hotels, this is as good as any of the toppers that I have slept on in hotels. Like all filled things (down or alternative down) it does flatten in areas, but each week we just slip off the bottom retaining straps and give it a good shake and it returns to its plump state again. The thing is also machine washable, and appears to resist moisture (which beads off the surface). This has been an excellent purchase for us. I recommend it.
