These are just the best nut-drivers for use with an impact driver. I bought both the metric set and the SAE set, and use them regularly with my Makita 18V drivers for both mechanic work on cars and general household work. The metal quality and strength of these is top notch, and having both the deep socket for use when bolts stick out of nuts and the magnetic sockets to hold and drive or remove either nuts or bolts is a great advantage. The plastic box they come in is very handy to move them around from job to job (wish they had an outside marking to tell you if the set is metric or SAE, or a different colored box for each). Another bonus is having a 14 mm socket which most other sets do not have, as this is a very handy size to work on Honda's and other cars with a small 1/4" hex impact driver. Using these sockets with a battery driver makes short work of what used to be a chore with hand ratchets and wrenches, whether you are installing a new garage door or stripping down an engine.I ended up buying an extra set of metric ones by mistake, and sold it to my buddy, and now he swears by them too. The drivers are just the right length for most work (they are longer than most similar hex drive sockets), and if you need a longer reach, Irwin makes some very nice 1/4" hex locking extenders.

11 mm isn’t there, chip useless plastic box

If you own one of the cordless 1/4 inch hex drive impacts, this it a tool set you must have. I have been using Apex brand magnetic nut-drivers purchased locally for many years and have no complaints. However what was always missing was a nut-driver with clearance for the screw or bolt that was protruding from the nut. This set solves the problem by providing both a magnetic driver and a hollow shaft driver of each size and a nice storage case to boot.I have a machine shop and do a lot of equipment repairs, especially on generators and portable welders. I use these tools almost every day and have had zero failures and no disappointments. They are as good as my Panasonic cordless tools, which are simply the very best cordless tools made.This set is also available as SAE in part number NS100. Get both.

Both these and the SAE set are the best nut drivers I have used. I have never broken one nor has a magnet fallen out of any of them.

I was looking for set that included larger sizes, not only did I get that but I have them in a handy case plus magnetic and non-magnetic sizes. And one more thing, the quality is good. BUT ! because of a question I got a couple of days ago (June 28, 2015) Idecided to find them, looked at sizes in the case and realized much to my chagrin that the set included two 13mm magnetic socketsand not a 14mm socket. SO ! I really need to tell you (or anyone) that you check the sizes right away, I should have but did not.My mistake. Steveguy.

I bought my 1st set of these 15 years ago I just broke my 10 mm so I bought a whole another set And I used my 18 V impact driver with theseOn a daily basis They seem to hold up well Quality product

These are for drill/driver type things, NOT for impact-drivers.Yes they are properly made,yes sometimes being able to NOT magnetize things is needed ( or outright a blessing! )sometimes you aren't even allowed to have magnets touching what you're working on...but I wish they'd been clearer that these are not impact-capable.So, I'll STILL have to find/buy the Makita set...HTH!

Very well made box to keep them in. I know, that sounds silly. But having a good container helps keeping them together. Having both a magnetic tip and a open tip makes it easy to tighten up nuts as well as bolts.
