WOLFPACK: How to Come Together, Unleash Our Power, and Change the Game

Forest through the trees?
We are a very soccer oriented family and I have always been fond of Abby. However, this book has too many political agendas (anti-Trump) to actually enjoy the message about female empowerment.Abby also says women are a wolf pack continuously. Um, Abby...there are male wolves in packs too. Maybe not yours...but in mine, there is.It's not necessary to bash the president and all other men to feel like a powerful woman....just my 2 cents...

“You were always the Wolf”
After hearing Abby’s declaration, “you were never Little Red Riding Hood. You were always the Wolf”, I was in awe. I was shocked. I was empowered. I pre-ordered this book the moment I found out it was available. It arrived today and I read it in mere minutes. It’s a slim book and a quick read with a big message. It’s a book which I can refer to whenever the need arises. It’s a book my niece (who is 1.5 years old!) will receive when she learns how to read. Until then, it’s a message she will hear from me until it is part of her. She is the Wolf. She is the future. She is a Leader and a Helper and she possesses strength and compassion. This is an amazing book and I highly recommend it. It’s one of the best leadership books I have read, and I have read A LOT of leadership books.

Very small book
I love & respect Abby Wamback and her wife Glennon. This was a great inspirational book for women everywhere, especially young girls. However, at 92 very small pages for $11.53 preordered on Amazon and so much publicity, I expected more.

This book rocks!!!
Just read the book in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down. Abby mentions in the book that a woman wrote her a message saying that what Abby said are things she felt her entire life but didn’t have words to explain. What Abby writes are things I’ve thought about and some things that I have said. However she puts it together so eloquently and in such an inspiring way. I would read something and say Yes, yes out loud. Not joking. It’s about leadership and specifically women leaders. I’m guessing I’ll read it many more times. It is pure inspiration for women but really for all people. We are all leaders. If you are alive, you are leading something...you are leading your life. Which therefore means this book is for you. Must read for all girls. I rarely write reviews but thought it was so great I shut the book and immediately picked up my phone to write a review. Abby, you rock! I’m part of your Wolfpack!

Quick, inspiring, refreshingly real
This book came in the mail today, and I already finished it. Today. And, in case you're wondering, I was able to finish this cover to cover while still doing other things: I worked out, made important phone calls, picked up children from various locations, went to the store, took a shower, got a massage, made dinner, did some cleaning. My life isn't glamorous; I'm an educator on spring break so I have to squeeze all the things in to one day. But I still managed to finish long before bedtime. The chapters are short and sweet, and they provide clarity and the beginning of each one via The Rule, plus a quick synopsis of living by said Rule at the end. It's neat and clean and not filled with flowery or lofty language. It almost makes me want to have more children so I can have a girl to raise into a badass wolf in addition to my privileged sons. ALMOST...I'll settle for using Abby's words to help teach my boys to make the world better place ALONGSIDE the pack.

Amazing things do come in small packages!
While this is a very quick read, it packs a major punch and a profound message! The message can apply to all women, regardless of their age, race, abilities, etc. I was so inspired after reading only the first part the book, I knew then this was something great. Before I finished reading, I ordered additional copies to give to some of the women in my life. Do yourself a favor a buy this book!It is a book that can be reread many times. I know for myself, rereading something I've read can hit different points for me depending on what is happening in my life at the time.BUY IT NOW! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

“It’s your time” 🚀
Abby Wambach’s Wolfpack: how to come together, unleash our power, and change the game had me at, “It’s your time.” p. 7What I really like about this sweet simple concise read is mostly how impactful the guide posts are:1. Create your own path2. Be grateful for what you have ANd demand what you deserve.3. Lead now - from wherever you are.4. Failure means you're finally IN the game.5. Be FOR each other.6. Believe in yourself. Demand the ball.7. Lead with humanity. Cultivate Leaders.8. You're not alone. You've got your pack. The final page before the above list leads me to consider although Abby lists what we can create, she leaves the reader with their responsibility for how with others possessing similar values.P. 92So don't just asking yourself, “What do I want to do?” ask yourself: “Who do I want to be?”The most important thing I’ve learned is that what you do will never define you for long. Who you are always will.We are the Wolves. There is magic inside us.There is power among us.Let’s unleash and unite.Let’s storm the valleys together, and change the game forever. This is a compact short book. Reminds me of Make Your Bed, by Admiral McRaven. This book is a shorter, different autobiographical narrative, but the same enthusiasm to succeed through personal and societal cliffs and valleys with a circle of others we trust.Overall enjoyed this book. I'd had it on the shelf since March. Felt compelled to #JustDoIt today. Glad I did. Felt a little like a sabbatical from books that usually take days.Although began in print, switched to Audible to be with the author one on one since Ms. Wambach is the narrator. Listening felt a great depth of relationship to her story and how it relates to me, the reader, and my journey.Like two friends hanging out. Teammates encouraging the other. Might sound weird, but for some authors I listen to this is the image I'm getting from them.If you are a man or woman, either or this would be a great book to feel encouraged, tone-setting, an eight-point guidepost to reset for the goal post :)⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🚀

A must read for girls and women
It’s a very small book but it packs a punch with every single page containing an important piece of advice for women and girls the world over. I would have liked it to last longer than the hour and a half it took to read and maybe read more about Abby’s life as she is a fascinating individual but I still think it’s well worth the money x

A toilet book worth reading
I call this a toilet book because you can pick it up, absorb a chapter in 5 minutes, think and reflect.I loved it. It spoke my language but from a sporting mindset. I don't do sports book usually because it's a very male perspective. Abby is leading her pack from the front.

If you haven’t, please find your Pack!
The power of the collective, channeling the strength of your inner wolf are all concepts that Abby Wambach explores in such a light and a easy to follow manner; it really is a call for women to come together and lift each other up, to be sure of themselves and to continue demanding all our rights.
