Perfect fit
Everything fit perfectly. It was a great replacement casing for my original that I ran over with a school bus.

Perfect fit for my DCF887 easy and quick to swap, You Tube made it easier. Save the screws as it comes with none. T10 screwdriver required.

Looks and feel like a brand new tool
Quality of the replacement looks and feels like the original. It really is a perfect replacement besides not having the original stickers. I used a heat gun to transfer all my old stickers, at least the ones that were still there. My impact is like 4 or 5 years old so it's a slightly older model, but continues to run strong. I didn't want to toss it just because it was broken right where the battery and handle was; just too many drops most likely. It couldn't sit up straight any more. The original cover has lived through two house renovations so it's hard to complain. Nothing beats saving some money, not having to buy a brand new one. Great quality for the price, just make sure you're referencing your model number because they are not all the same.

Fits perfectly
The replacement case fit perfectly for Dewalt drill. The drill works perfectly and feels good in my hand. Some of the coloring is different from original case but it’s cosmetic. Functionality is perfect.

While my DCF887 is a workhorse and has withstood two story drops onto concrete, this is an easy-piezy replacement for when you toss your impact driver across the worksite in a fit of rage (not manufacture recommended method for tool operation or construction).
