Excelent product! Highly recommended!
I have a ledger nano x and the new flex and although the flex is pretty sleek, it is not worthy the price difference, the D’Cent has great size, easy to use fingerprint scan and great app! Comes with usbc port, lot of previous complains about microusb port but it’s been upgraded so perfect!

Security that you’ll actually use
Despite what many will tell you, this is in fact the most secure wallet for regular, real world use. Why? Many don’t understand that real world security matters above all else.Example: your company decides to require everyone to have 24 character passwords with letters, numbers, characters, etc. In theory this is a stronger password, because it’s harder to guess but in practice people will forget it, be inconvenienced, etc. and therefore write it on a post-it or word doc. People might recycle passwords or be willing to share them. They may get locked out of their devices, waste valuable time dealing with password recovery, and all kinds of other issues. End result is actually less secure and a net negative. In this example, compare to a password manager that stores “strong” passwords and only requires a simple(r) password/pin and 2FA from a mobile app. End password is more difficult to obtain or brute force because it can be even longer and more complicated. Compliance is higher because it actually improves convenience. Overriding the 2FA aspect entails breaking past Face ID/fingerprint or otherwise exploiting access to the smartphone, cracking 2FA, etc. Still more layers of what is still fairly strong security to overcome.“But it has a fingerprint reader. Biometrics = bad”. Fingerprint reader is a massive plus. Pins can be guessed or a nefarious actor can just shoulder surf or record you entering the pin. Pins can be forgotten, and entering one on a small device is slow and cumbersome. May lead to setting an insecure pin, not bothering to transact with cold wallet for regular use, etc. Besides, you don’t have to use one if you don’t want to. Although all biometric data is stored in the wallet, never transmitted. Can still use pin in lieu or as a backup.“Bluetooth bad”. Unless you’re being targeted by someone who can break high encryption Bluetooth in the intermittent periods where your wallet is on, probably not a worry. In which case you’re being targeted; someone that determined to get into your wallet would resort to violence or coercion regardless of security measures…in which case you’d have far bigger problems.Beyond convenience, high encryption Bluetooth to iOS over a cellular connection has fewer weak points than a USB connection (in theory every piece of hardware in the computer can be exploited by someone determined enough).iOS is more secure than windows or MacOS, and browsers/browser extensions have their own vulnerabilities. Plus you’re likely using WiFi, which is ironically way less secure than high security Bluetooth. Or you’re having to boot into tails from a flash drive, which still doesn’t address the browser/WiFi issues.Small, easy to use, gorgeous screen (compared to competition). Also don’t need to wipe the device for software updates. That’s huge. Support for multiple wallets on multiple networks with the ability to add custom tokens makes it perfect for DeFi.You should be using a cold wallet, and the D’CENT makes that easy and convenient. Highly recommend.

Reliable
I’ve been using the D'CENT Biometric Wallet for a few months now, and I couldn’t be happier with its performance. Right away, you can tell it’s a solid, well-built device that’s made to last. It has a nice weight to it without being bulky, and the materials feel high-quality and durable. The fingerprint authentication is a standout feature for me. It’s quick, secure, and works flawlessly every time. I no longer have to worry about memorizing long passcodes or the risk of someone else accessing my wallet. It’s also great knowing it supports such a wide range of coins, tokens, and even NFTs, which makes it perfect for managing all my crypto in one place. What really impressed me is how reliable it is. I’ve never had an issue with connectivity or transactions, and the setup process was surprisingly simple. This wallet gives me total peace of mind and has quickly become an essential part of my crypto routine. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable hardware wallet!

The missing item in the package
The item shows the dcent wallet comes with a micro usb cable. When you received the package and opened it. The package was missing the usb cable. I returned the package and I received the replacement dcent wallet. Open the box and no usb cable. What’s wrong with this advertisement.

Better than what I was expecting
I do not really write many reviews, but I was a bit surprised by this product, that I felt obligated to write this.I personally think that having a hardware wallet is necessary to consider, if you wish to custody your own crypto. I do own the Trezor Model T, and I think it is a great device. I was only looking at the D'Cent Wallet as just a backup. However, I am blown away by the security of this device. You do not have to plug it into anything during the initial setup, so generating the seed phrase is completely done offline. And the fingerprint ID is a particularly good layer for signing transactions, that I feel that my funds are safer on this device than on my Trezor. The mobile app also offers direct access to DeFi and NFTs, as well to interact with desktops applications like Synthetix and Oasis via Wallet Connect. It is almost tempting to say that this device is better than my Trezor overall, but "almost" is the key word. I would need to mess around with the D'Cent Wallet more to have a better say on that. The reason for the 4 stars is because I feel that the app has a bit of a lag at times and signing transactions can take a bit longer with this device than the Trezor. My guess is that this is due to having a bluetooth connection vs a USB connection. Not necessarily a bad thing, given the offset is having an extra layer of security.
