12 oz Shredder Lubricant

This product is a real cost saver over shredder lubrication sheets. It works well with plain paper to keep my shredder blades lubricated. I recommend.

This works very well. I use the oil every 2 weeks because I shred a lot. I can tell when my shredder is starting to slow down but now it goes WAY FASTER. I pour the oil in the slot and then I'll pour the oil on two pieces of paper and put 3 on the oil and let it go in the shredder. So I run it in reverse and then in normal. Just be careful when opening because my first bottle I cut the tip of the bottle and made a big hole so it flows out quickly. I bought a second because I ran out and made a smaller cut.

a big bottle but worth it if you shred a lot. just put it between a folded sheet of paper and run it.

It works and you don't need a lot of the product. We just make an X on a page and run it through. This lubricates the blades without the excess dribbling it across the cutters. Oh one tip, Don't cut the nozzle too deep! Keep in small so you don't dump oil everywhere. We bought two bottles and accidently clipped the tip to far down. It gets very messy if you're not careful. Good product should last years.

This works on any and all shredders that requite oil. Not all shredders require oil so it is best to check with your owners manual. If you don't oil your shredder with shredder oil you can bet it won't last. Please also note that you do not have to use costly shredder oil. Don't ever use motor oil or WD40 or any kind of spray. I have had my current shredder for over 10 years and I shred a lot. I gave my last one to a neighbor and it is still shredding 15 years now. The safest shredders for security are cross or micro cut.

economical and efficient way to keep my shredder going! had many sensitive documents that no longer needed to be saved...had previously used lubricant sheets to periodically oil the shredder (which is essential to maintain the shredding machine). it was time to reorder the sheets but I knew that I would need to order several packs...investigated the idea of actual oil and Fellowes is a name brand producer of these machines so I ordered a bottle. Lubrication is easy, neat, clean and odor free. My machine runs quietly and will last much longer with proper maintenance.

I once used non-shredder general purpose oil in a shredder. It stopped working soon after. I don't know if it was a bad coincidence but I bought this brand to use in replacement shredder. That was several years ago. I've never had any issues. I've even shared it with others. I've dribbled it directly across the shredder's opening and I've also simply dribbled some onto paper and fed it into shredder. Again. Never had any issues.

Original Fellows shredder oil. Useful for maintaining the efficiency of shredders. This helps lubricate the moving parts. However, it may not remove any residue of gum or glue, which often comes with paper that is being shredded. I'm not sure whether there's a solution for that, or if the shredder should be opened up and cleaned with a suitable material. As far as this product is concerned, it is a lubricant that has been time-tested to perform its intended function. A bit expensive in India as it's imported, and thus 1 star less.

A light oil that does the job well.
