These mugs are exactly what I need. I have a set and they worked out so perfectly I decided to buy a second set in a different color. I have tremors which don't show unless I'm trying to do something, like putting my coffee cup down and having coffee splash out everywhere. With these mugs that doesn't happen. I can enjoy my coffee without having to clean up spills. The lids are not attached and are not sealed so they are not leak proof, but they do prevent those splashes from materializing. They also keep your coffee a little warmer longer as long as you remember to close the lid. The mugs are not thermal though. Don't expect your drink to stay warm for hours. The cork is easy to remove for washing. I've had no problem with the cork not staying on once it is back on the mug. The mugs themselves are well made and nice looking.

the mug is heavy but awesome. The cork type bottom is handy, you don't leave wet spots.

I really thought I would love these mugs for the looks I would give them 5* but they do not keep your coffee or hot chocolate warm at all, I was disappointed from the first time I used them, they are very pretty in color, value wise I would say not met, the size of the cups are very good , if I had not used both of them I would send them back, save your money they are not worth it.😔

The mugs look good but function only marginally better at retaining heat than an everyday ceramic mug. The lid and cork coaster *probably* do slow some heat loss but don't expect to notice much. The heat radiating from the remainder of the mug overwhelms any advantage of these features. In short, these are not insulated to any meaningful degree. Your coffee or tea will still get as cold as fast as before. Also, the cork coaster adheres to the mug by a magnet affixed to the coaster and a metal slug affixed to the bottom of the mug. On both my cups, the slugs have fallen off, which required my having to glue them back on. I suspect the reason this happens is because heat from the cup undermines the integrity of whatever adhesive they use to attach the slug to the mug. I used a high heat tolerant superglue to reattach the slugs, which seems to have fixed what is essentially an aesthetic problem. Rated 3 star for average quality and function. It's no better or worse than that promotional coffee mug you won as a door prize at your company's most recent teambuilding training.

If you like coffee in a ceramic mug vs. stainless steel, and want to take it to go, these are an excellent option. Keeps coffee warm and doesn't spill. The cork bottom portion is a neat feature to help it from clanking on counters or slipping on surfaces, also you get two for a great price. The only downside to these mugs is the cork is held on with a magnet and thus can not be put in the microwave. Would I recommend this product: Yes.

I bought these mugs so my husband and I would have something to put our tea/coffee in for our commute to work. Neither of us like drinking from plastic or metal travel mugs very much, and my husband dislikes travel mugs that keep his drink really hot. Before buying them, I even went and measured the car and truck cup holders to be certain that they would fit. The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was that they are not a true white. It's not a big deal to us, but if you're looking for white, just know that these are more of a cream or very light beige. The next thing we both noticed the first time we used them, was that the lid had a really really strong chemical smell. It was strong enough that my husband just took the lid off to drink his tea. I was not impressed, but I decided to wait and see if the smell would fade. Now, after about a week, it has faded some, but it's still there enough that taking that last sip of coffee feels kind of chemically and it really isn't a good way to end the cup. I don't like this at all. The next thing that we noticed is that the mugs hardly fit into our cup holders. Instead of being 3 inches in diameter like the product pictures show, it's more like 3 1/4 inches. The cork bottom narrows somewhat, and that's the only way it can sort of fit our cup holders. I was disappointed about that, but thought I could live with it. The last straw and the reason I sat down just now to write this review is that, as you can see in the picture, the cork bottom just came off of one of the mugs this afternoon. I don't know how it came off because we've been careful with them, haven't dropped them, etc. But yeah, its off, and I can't even figure out where it disappeared to, otherwise maybe I'd glue it back on. I really am disappointed because I never spend this much on mugs. I was definitely hoping they'd be worth the money! UPDATE: A day or two after writing this review, the cork came off the second mug, and the lid on one of them started not staying down all the way when pushed into place. I should add also that we wash these by hand since we don't have a dishwasher, so they've definitely not gotten rough treatment. I started a return and ordered replacements, hoping that these were just a bad set or something. However, when they got here Saturday, I decided to return them too since the lids also smelled strongly of chemicals and the one lid already wouldn't stay completely down.

Second update: I received 4 replacement mugs, and so far none have cracked or chipped. They hold heat well, and the lids that came with them fit better than the previous ones. Very satisfied with the new mugs, and with the excellent customer service. Update: After writing my initial review, the company reached out and offered me either a refund or replacement of the item. They were very friendly and considerate. I never expected anything, just wanted to review the mugs. I will update again when I get the replacements. Doesn’t keep coffee warm. The 2nd day we had these, one of the handles cracked. The metal piece on the bottom of 2 fell off, and the others get rusty. Also smaller than I thought they would be. I only bought them because they were domino some really nice ones we had bought before, but those are no longer available. Lids do not fit well, either.

I originally bought a pair of these mugs back in 2020 and thought they were fantastic, as they were much larger than the average coffee mug AND had a closeable lid. Unfortunately, I managed to break both mugs recently, hence me needing to buy these new, updated versions. The thing I didn't really favour with my original mugs was the fact that the cork base was glued to the mug, rather than being held in place by a magnet, as it now is in the newer incarnation. I reheat drinks in the microwave frequently, (not recommended in the item description) and didn't care when the cork became warped; I simply prised it off and cleaned off the glue residue. (The use of magnets instead of glue in the updated versions of the mug is a *much* better design as I also have various mug warmers distributed around my house so I can keep my drinks hot wherever I happen to be. The protective cork, however prevents the heat from reaching the liquid as cork is a poor conductor of heat.) I read the warnings about the mugs not being microwaveable due to the magnets, but this wasn't an issue for me, as I'd planned to remove the cork bases - along with the attaching magnets - anyway so I could use the mugs with the aforementioned warmers. The magnets were easily removed with a mini screwdriver as shown in the image. (Some have complained about the glue giving way too easily, which may be true, but this obviously worked in my favour since i needed to remove the magnets in order to make the mugs microwave safe. But had I chosen to leave them in place, it wouldn't have been much of an issue to simply reglue them if they detached.) All in all, these are fantastic pieces of crockery; the recloseable lids are fantastic and do a great job of preserving the heat.

This hot beverage cup is a great buy. It is heavy enough for you to feel it but not strain. The cork bottom comes off for easy cleaning and reattaches with a magnet. The cork bottom will not scratch your table or counter surfaces which is great. Comes with a press in lid to keep contents hot. Variety of colours but black looks the best in my opinion. Overall a great mug to enjoy all your hot beverages.
