I cannot comment on this product specificially as I have not used a tablet out of this pack, however the main constituent is effective at stopping diarrhoea once the bowel are empty and haing travelled extensively and sometimes of grid, I can confirm that Loperamide at the recommended dose works. I have purchased this product ahead of a trip to India, where I have travelled before with no harmful tummy upsets, however I don't like to take chances as we are going with a group of people on an organised tour and therefore, unlike when we have travelled ndependently, we will not be able to delay travel or stop the car as necessary. My advice to anyone purchasing this product and if you have need for it, to take it as a last resort and when there is no other option, as whilst it is effective, letting nature take its course is often the best treatment available. I always follow the process of: Washing my hands regularly and do not rely on gel or wipes: there is no substitute for soap and water; Wash hands before meals; Don't drink beer served from a freshly washed glass; If you eat from a street vendor, eat it freshly cooked; Only drink branded soft drinks and either open the bottle yourself or within your eyesight; Use bottled water to drink and for brushing your teeth; Shower with your eyes and mouth closed; head down works best! Eat vegetarian food when possible and always hot; Peel any fruit before eating unless in a good quality hotel. Along with this product I always take a quantity of dyalorite sachets with me to replenish important salts and minerals as a severe infection can be debilitating. Finally, once you start on these tablets, continue taking them until you get to somewhere with a toilet you can access. They do work but stopping them too early when the infection is raging can lure you into a false sense of security, taking them is always a last resort as you don't address the cause of the problem you simply treat the symptoms.

Great to have in the cupboard. Effective and easy to use and small so quick to take. Good to carry with you incase of emergencies. Don’t taste of anything, they go down to quick to notice.
