Great Buy!
Small like all the newer, expensive speakers. Has every function that the top of the line system has PLUS is water/dust/shock proof so it is a great outdoor option. I read that the audiophiles feel that the sound quality could be better, but I have zero reservations saying it sounds awesome and gets plenty loud. No better option for the price.

Panasonic should work with Panasonic, but don't count on it.
The whole point of the purchase was to get more volume and clarity on Panasonic cordless landline phone for family member hard of hearing. Product valueless fior the purpose. Problem may be partly in the phone. 1. Product, unlike others, would at least pair with Panasonic landline phone. 2. Could, with some effort, be coerced to connect to phone. Difficult, not intuitive. 3. Speaker quality was pretty good to begin, did not continue so well. 4. Mic sucks. Like a Hoover.

it's not good for much more than a 10 foot radius
OK for what it is - cheap BT speaker. If used outside (my primary use), it's not good for much more than a 10 foot radius. Sound is rather weak, but sound quality is as expected for its' size. Nice for wife and I to sit outside in the evening with the speaker between us and listen to some quiet music.

Good value when <$40 & paired w/ external power pack
A good bluetooth speaker with pros/cons..... First off at $100 this speaker just isn't worth the investment. However, if it is $40 or less then it has some good uses. I grabbed mine for $26 as a warehouse deal and feel it is a good value. I was looking for a bluetooth speaker to use while playing golf. I needed something more rugged than the typical bluetooth speaker and preferably something I could strap to my golf bag. Below are my observations while using the speaker. ** Elephant in the room: yes, the speaker and instructions were produced by Japanese engineers. That's good for quality, but bad when trying to decipher broken English in the instructions. A name like SC-NT10-D vs. something more marketable like ToughBoom or similar highlights the lack of American influence in the product lifecycle. This poor English wreaks havoc in the user manual in stating things like "only Panasonic super special cable be used".....What they are really trying to say is: from a pure engineering specification perspective our cable is guaranteed to delivery the power needed to effectively charge the device. Or in simpler, even broken English terms: "cheap China cable no worky." I've used several different high quality micro USB cables to charge the unit without issue. ** The speaker feels high quality and should withstand bouncing around on a bag and being thrown around in the cart. ** As others have noted the overall volume is low unless boost mode is used. This is especially true if you plan to use the speaker outside. Good news is the music is nice and clear in both modes. Playing music inside without boost mode is OK for most rooms, just don't expect a party blaster. ** The big downside with using boost mode is battery life goes down to 1-2hrs. This reduced battery life can be a pain, however the speaker has a redeeming quality to provide a workaround. Most bluetooth speakers won't play music while charging; the Panasonic SC-NT10-D allows music to be played while charging!!!! The beauty here is you can connect a USB power pack, like an Anker Astro, and play music at high volume for hours!!! Power packs are so cheap and small these days that it's easy to keep one with you. I already had an Anker and at $26 for the speaker it's a great pairing. If you don't want to carry an external pack around and need boost mode for extended periods, then this speaker may not be the best option. ** Bluetooth pairing and overall range are typical. Pairing takes a minute and range is ~30ft. Bottom line is it's a great speaker at <$30-$40 that works well with an external pack. At that price point you can beat it around and get good outdoor use from it without worrying too much.

At last !!
This is the third speaker I've bought. I returned the first two. Neither worked worth a darn. The first one was replaced by the vendor when I posted an evaluation saying it was junk. The replacement wouldn't even sync. I returned both and ordered a different speaker. That one was no better. None of those speakers would work with the speaker about 15 feet from my Mac mini. And even close by the Mac they were quite staticky. Finally I ordered this Panasonic. It does exactly what I want it to do. UPDATE July 13 - After a few days funny things started to happen with this speaker, just like the other ones. It would sometimes get quite staticky. It would turn itself on, even when I had no audio source running. I was getting perturbed to say the least. Then something happened that made me think perhaps the problem was not with the speaker. The first clue was the speaker turning itself on. But when I was actually listening to audio, it would sometimes turn itself off. I decided perhaps something else was gong on. I’m on a Mac with the newest OS X. I’ve had multiple problems with Safari. For example, videos that I knew were subtitled did not present the CC button in Safari. The first few times this happened, I figured the problem was with the video. But one day I decided to try the same link in Firefox. Lo and behold, there was the CC button. One click and I had subtitles. I decided to make Firefox my default browser. Since then the speaker has worked perfectly. As unlikely as it seems, Safari was the problem. Now I wonder if Safari was also the problem with the speakers I returned.

insufficient volume
Low volume, couldn't hear the music over ambient sound. Ended up building my own with some real speakers.

Tough little speaker
This is a great quality bluetooth speaker. It is durable but lightweight and has a great sound quality. We used this for several hours a day for 4 days before having to recharge the battery. Definitely a great value for the cost and easily loud enough for a large room or outdoor use. Very resistant to being dropped or other damage. I have used several blue tooth speakers and this one is just as good if not better than others I have tried.

Low volume disappoints
The sound quality is very good and the bass response is pretty good when boosted but the overall volume of the speaker on Bluetooth is woefully inadequate. I would not recommend this for outdoor applications, which this is designed for.

Not loud enough and too big !
Ordered the product on reading great reviews about the sound quality and performance. Unfortunately the product is not loud enough especially for its size. Expected more based on the product reviews.
