Coffee Gator Pour Over Coffee Maker - 10.5 oz/300 ml

I love the simplicity and beauty of this Pour Over Coffee Maker. The stainless steel filter is magnificient - it really doesn't allow any ground coffee through so you have a beautiful tasting, aromatic cup of coffee without the grit. Washing up afterwards is a breeze due to it's design and the material used (not to mention how elegant and aesthetic it looks as well). Plus, it's soo environmentally friendly because you don't need paper filters. A part of me likes to think that I'm actually contributing to saving trees although this is made possible by the product itself. Maybe the credit should go to Coffee Gator but I digress. It's a great Coffee Maker and you get great results from it.ps - I should also mention that the service from Coffee Gator is amazing. I wrote to them with a query on a Sunday evening (7 p.m.) to help me decide on which Coffee Maker to buy and received a response with helpful advice within the hour. The service is very personalised - almost as if you're there face to face doing the shopping. Impressive!

I bought this for my wife for Xmas. We have had filter machines, French presses, espresso machines etc etc and it was time to try a pour over. This thing is so easy to use and is great quality . At first I felt like the glass was so thin and going to break but I believe it is some kind of special silicate glass, more skin to chemistry grade glass than tumbler or drinking glass glass.I had a small issue with the filter recently and I contacted the retailer who replied to me within a few hours and I will be receiving a complete replacement next week!It’s rare these days that you deal with a company who stands by their products and this is a testament to their customer service.The brand is Coffee Gator and the company is called Nestopia. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy one if their products again. Top marks!I have been using this product daily since Xmas and it has been washed every day and sometimes treated a little harder than it maybe should have been. Part of the filter came away where it was spot welded. I don’t like using paper filters.Overall 5 stars for the pour over set and 5 stars for the customer service 👌

This does make a lovely cup of coffee and being able to tap the leftovers into the bin is a lot easier than a French press.Down side is that the glass is so thin its going to take a little tap with a cup or spoon to break it.When I pick it up it feels so weak I am going to store it in its cardboard box!Apart from that it's a great design and works very well.Would be 5 starts if not so weak and thin glass, if it does break I will not be purchasing again will want something built for a kitchen environment.

Bought as a Christmas present for my son along with other Gator items. I bought the small size which does not have a handle but has a silicon collar instead. The shape is quite aesthetically pleasing, it's easy to clean, well designed and produced, and it was very well packaged. A real quality product. It's the first time he has tried low pressure/gravity filter coffee and he was impressed. The coffee comes out crystal clear from the amazing filter which just rinses clean. He has previously used a Moka pot (percolator) and was getting fed up with the messing around. The Gator is really quick and easy to use and to clean. It's a quality product and good value for money. I would definitely recommend it.

As I say, it's a great bit of kit. Seems well-made and reasonably sturdy. Coffee doesn't stay hot for long but then there's only 300mls or so in there so I usually drink it all before it goes cold. Pours ok. Plus easy to keep clean. Love the metal filter - no more paper filters to mess with! Would make a great gift.

Does exactly what it's meant to. Feels as if it's good quality and will last. No issues at all so far.

I’ve been looking for that perfect cup of coffee in the morning that I can make with ease and gives me my single morning cup. I thought this was it. It’s not.It’s well made and easy to clean... so no problem there.It’s simple and easy to use. The recommended dose is 3 scoops (each scoop being 7g of coffee). It did indeed make a really good cup of coffee.Money wise. Not great but OK.So what’s the problem?The design is terrible. That filter cone is too small. You can only pour the hot water in, in drips and drabs. You have to stand there slowly adding a splash of water, waiting for it to drain through, then another splash, wait, and so on, and on. Right pain in the butt. If I wanted to wait 5 minutes for a coffee I’d use one of my other machines. It would have been perfect if the filer cone and been 2-3 times the size. Shame. It’s going back.

No complaints, at first I thought it drained too fast ,but it filters the coffee grounds perfectly

Tenía muchas ganas de probar una cafetera de esta marca porque me habían hablado muy bien de sus acabados, y la verdad es que la Coffee Gator es un acierto total. El formato es precioso y el filtro permanente de acero es de muy buena calidad, te olvidas de estar comprando filtros de papel cada dos por tres.Me decidí por este método de goteo manual (Pour Over) porque buscaba una alternativa para evitar otras cafeteras menos saludables que usan plásticos o materiales que no me convencen. El proceso de preparación es muy sencillo y te permite controlar todo el flujo del agua. Al final, el café sale con un sabor mucho más limpio y natural. Si te gusta disfrutar de un buen café y te preocupa la salud de los materiales, esta cafetera es una opción de 10.Cuando hago café , aprovecho para hacer 400 o 500 ml y así tengo para varios días.

Ottimo caraffa filtro , con i disegni delle tazze, ottimo materiale e ottimo filtro metallico, maglie molto fini, volendo si può fare a meno dei filtri carta.Volendo trovare un difetto l’impugnatura scotta e bisogna fare attenzione quando si versa il caffè.

I've been using this a couple of times a day for a week now. No question, it is an outstanding product. Very easy to use, looks good (my partner was delighted with the look when I pulled it from the box, which is rarely her reaction to my coffee equipment purchases), no paper filters needed, and most importantly, makes a cup of coffee that takes really well-extracted. Definitely tastes better than what I get most of the time with my Hario V60.The coffee/water recommendation that comes with it are pretty spot on; I've been using about 23 grams rather than 20 for slightly stronger coffee. Also, if you don't have a gooseneck kettle, order one. I think this would be tricky to use without one.Overall, enthusiastically recommended.
