As good a system as the other company!
We are installing a replacement deck and wanted to keep the porch below dry so we looked for options. I found this system and am very happy with it.First, it will cost 1/3 of most other under deck drainage systems. Instead of $50 a rafter for parts, this will cost about 15 for a 10 foot deck. The price is for a 50 foot roll so you cut to fit from that. The system does not require an expensive collector at the end, simply cut an X into the material and screw on a downspout connector, I added some butyl tape for extra security and water proofing but that isn't really necessary. The material is a stiff plastic which has a drain down the center bent into the material. Staple in place with a drop down to the outlet end and bend the end upward into place, you are done.Great material and really fast shipping! It was shipped the next day from Canada and was at my place in 3 days from ordering. Good company, great shipping excellent product!

Good, heavy duty product! Installation instructions could be better in my opinion.
Product seems.to be very durable. I would recommend as a 2 person installation. It may have been that I am a homeowner installing this and not a contractor. In my opinion, the installation directions were alittle lacking and could be improved on, but as stated before, the product I'm happy with, and would recommend.

Descent product
Definitely use 4” tape (BLACK). Use longest staples your gun will staple. Cannot use compressed air stapler in my experience. Will significantly warp and twist in high temps during install. Try to have done in one day. On long runs (I did 16’) maybe not the best product. Mine is pooling in the middle. I cannot imagine running a 16’ elevated deck at a 2 degree downslope which would put constant tension on the house rim joist. Make sure to use lateral bracing if so. I’m no engineer, but…

Unworkable and Threw Away
Too inflexible and rigid, impossible to work with. Came with no instructions and was severely creased. Wasn't able to channel for drainage due to stiffness and creases (the later created barriers to water flow), and had to toss as a result.

Expensive and hard to install
Expensive for what it is. Very rigid plastic with big size variation with temperature: installation under cold temperatures is not recommended. It is hard to get a good regular slope on distances over 10 ft.Knowing all the above I would have used another solution.

Mold, Mildew, More Mold....
Anything (not just this) that collects water and is unable to completely dry out will (not possibly) promote mold growth... very unhealthy... But hey isn't it nice to be able to go under a deck which in & of itself is dangerous if it ever pancakes down on you... lets just throw common sense out the window folks, we need all the conveniences we can get rite? While we are at it perhaps we should go back to the 70's & 80's and place plastic sheets under the dry wall in bathrooms to protect insulation from bathroom moisture, how did that work out?
