Pepperel Pom Poms Half Pounder Assorted Approximately 750/Pkg, Standard

I am in charge of a large homeschool group's weekly science lessons. The next few weeks we will be studying the solar system. I wanted a small model for each student to make, but needed to do it on a budget. After much scouring of the web...mainly Pinterest of course...for ideas, I decided on a cardboard circle (I am using cardboard cake boards) painted black and then they will draw on the lines with white crayon and add on their planets....which is where the pompoms come in. They are the 'planets' What a delightful surprise to find that there are some in there that are 'swirly' looking and look just absolutely perfect for our project! Super delightful surprise. The colors are great and I absolutely love that it truly is a great assortment of sizes, colors, and such. My 5 year old son spotted the bag when it was delivered and was pleading with me to please let him open them and start using them immediately. They will make any project more fun for certain, I might have to bag another bag to keep at home...my son would certainly be beyond thrilled if I did. Hmmm...perhaps a super fun Christmas stocking idea for him!

Brought this for my kindergartner's teacher. She loved pom poms and had no complaints. I kept a few for myself. I have no complaints. Love that it has different sizes, the largest being quite large, about 2 inches give or take. The price is also reasonable, at least for me. I've a bag that probably holds an 1/8 of this go for about the same price in my area... I am happy with it.

These pom poms are awesome to decorate art projects or just glue! Which is what my two year old loves to do! All you need is glue, a paper plate or thick paper! Dot the glue and stick! Easy as that ! And super fun! Something so simple is better than most her toys!Love having these around for my three year olds arts and crafts!Every color is included!Pom poms are different sizes from large to x-small so there is a wide varity of colors and sizes!Not too soft, so when stuck in glue there is no fufu stuck on your finger!My daughter likes to glue the pom poms to paper plates and make designs !You get A LOT for your money ! I've had my last bag over three months now! There were not enough standard size/colors to do any patterns or large projects with. That being said, for doing work in my classroom these are really nice. The many different textures, colors, and sizes all provide a stimulating experience for my students. They are fun to do art projects with because you never know what you will get. The kids can sort them any which way they want and grade them ordered sets like largest to smallest. They can use tongs to pick them up and transfer them to different containers and sort them that way. The price is good for a mixed bag. If you want a standard type in any way, look somewhere else.

I ordered these in order to create my Bubblegum Machine Halloween costume, and it served that purpose quite well. The 'multi-sizes' are a bit insane - mostly normal sized ones, then two GIANT glittery poms. I used a variety of all the normal ones (no glitter ones, and no brown ones really. Who would want to eat those?) and the bag filled up my shirt perfectly, with just a few leftover. Great quality, no falling apart, vibrant colors, and easy to manipulate with a little hot glue :)

PROS:>There are a little over 750 pom poms in the package (at least in the one of the two I bought which I counted out and separated colors, the other pack looks VERY similar).>There is a nice assortment of colors, including three mottled colors that would make nice animals. Total colors overall in the one bag - 25, including the tinsel ones.CONS:>Most of them are not very well made and will easily pull apart.See the pictures of just a few of the seriously defective pom poms, including a close up showing those with half one size and the other half another size and shaggy. There are at least 50 or 60 like this. The larger picture shows how uneven the larger pom poms are (the largest in the bags are 2" approx) and the big ones will pull apart super easy - the center tie is not very tight at all.>There were six 2" white pom poms with tinsel that the tinsel pulls right out of - but of course most tinsel pom poms will pull out like this. Since tinsel can kill a pet that ingests it, you won't want to be giving any tinsel pom poms to your cats to play with.>There are very few solid brown, tan, gold pom poms (a total of 40 between the three colors) and all of them are small - only 4 are an inch, the rest are all much less. Not enough in any one of them to really make much of anything.>Several other colors are very small amounts - and most colors don't have all sizes represented.>Most sizes are 1" or less.OVER ALL THOUGHTS:I won't buy these again. What is in the bag is in no way representative of the picture they have so far as the "type" of pom pom. I was expecting mostly the more solid, better made pom poms, not these silky crappy pull apart kind.Are they still usable? Sure, but only for applications where you will be gluing them pretty heavily otherwise you can expect that they will pull apart.I fully understand that this is an assortment, and I am totally cool with the fact that you aren't going to get even numbers of each color or some in each size of each color, but when the only manufacturer picture shows a bag that is obviously composed of mostly the sturdier type of pom pom, that is what I expect. If the style and material of the pom poms is also random, not just size and color, then the seller/manufacturer needs to show 4 or 5 pictures that represent all the possible types of mixtures that could be expected. YES, I checked the photos and reviews from other buyers and decided to roll the dice since more were good than bad. Ah, will I never learn about taking chances like this? ;-)Bottom line is that I think a lot of these pom poms are the "seconds" and "rejects" that this company gets from multiple pom pom manufacturers and that they have misrepresented what to expect with their single photo.

Great amount for money. Some reviews claim too fluffy, but they are pom poms! They are great. Limited colors in the 2" but great for a random assortment of pom poms. Great variety of sizes, some sparkle ones, patterned and a great combination of hues and neons. Use the largest for mesh ball pom pom game with 14 month old. She loves it!

Not very happy with the pompoms. They are very fuzzy and squished. The colours are not very bright except the neons. A decent variety of sizes except the large ones of which I only got a few and only in black, white, brown orange and 3 green. I received 4 huge sparkle balls, like bigger than pingpong balls, in gold, green, orange and black; not sure what I'd be expected to do with those. Also a large selection of multicolour pompoms in mostly ugly colours (browns, mixed with pink or black and orange, neons, pastels). Not happy with these random ones since they I was expecting solid colours, they were not advertised and I would never use them. Disappointed in the quality and selection for my uses. Would probably suit some people just fine for crafting and at a great price you get a great amount of pompoms, but no good for me.

Great quality pom poms!It comes in a variety of bright colours and sizes. My children love playing with them. They are so versatile!
