Zombies!!! 3 Mall Walkers 2nd ed

Product:Zombies 3!!! Mall Walkers with 16 New Tile Maps and 32 Event Cards, adds little more depth and complexity to Zombies!!!, much like its predecessor did, Zombies!!! 2 -Zombie Corps(e), but in a slightly different way. This time around players may choose to start their journey inside the mall (as a standalone game and/or combined with Z & Z2) or incorporate it as an alternative escape route as the original Zombies game expands (though zombies, life tokens and bullets are not provided with this expansion). New rules are added in attempt to clarify/ stream line the game for a faster, more fun pace. The mall has its own helipad as escape route, but players (in addition to obtaining 25 kills), now have an optional bonus scenarios of 'Search and Rescue' and 'Kill the Guy with the keys,' which depending on how the game is played, changes up the dynamic of game a player(s) experiences. Players do need the original game to play even if playing as a standalone game.Quality:The cards and tiles are similar to the previous zombies (2nd ed) and zombies 2 (2nd ed) and probably hold up just the same if you own either of those. Overall the cards are similar to a regular deck of playing cards in terms of construction and the tiles have great designs, but are rather thin and seem to slide on some surfaces rather easily (i.e. wooden kitchen tables). With standard care, some routine wear and tear, I would expect both items to hold up just fine for the long haul.Overall: Great addition if you like the original game (even better if you own other expansions). Any general zombie fan or Zombies game player (I'm both) will probably find this worth the price. The cards add plenty of depth and make getting a 25 zombie kill count win easier as well as the ability to expand for customizable central or personal playing decks.Side note: I enjoy reading the short story provided with each expansion instruction pamphlet. If you don't have extra zombies (additional bag), then I recommend those because your standard issue zombie supply will run short if you have multiple players.

My whole family loves the Zombies!!! series from Twilight Creations. I bought the first set, Zombies!!!  Zombies Third Edition Board Game  way back in the early 00s, played it a few times- had fun- but never got fully into it. Well, now the kids are older and board games are a favorite, so out comes Zombies!!! again! This is the 3rd expansion, Mall Walkers. Where the core game has the players escaping the zombie infested town, and the 1st Expansion Zombies!!! 2: Zombie Corps(e)  Zombies!!! 2 - Zombie Corps(e) 2nd Ed  (which we don't have yet- and need to rectify!) is set on a military base. Well, Zombies!!! 3- this one is set in everyone's favorite George Romero approved Mall! The potential is great- slide through the air ducts to avoid the Z's roaming the mall floors, or fight our way through them- options are great! The cards that enable players to use special attacks, mess up the other players, or recharge health or ammo quickly are fun and funny. We all like this one- kids and bigger kids alike. We like to House Rule this expansion and skip the Helicopter Tile, focusing instead on a player co-op to exterminate all the Z's inside the mall for victory... Keep these games coming, Twilight Creations, and we'll keep buying!

LOVE THIS GAME! so much fun! It's like cutthroat Uno and a zombie Apocolypse combined! We had so much fun playing this game last weekend we did it multiple times. We added a few house rules to mix it up and we ended up playing with 8-9 players, which seemed to work fine as well. Definately going to be buying more expansion sets for this too! If you are a zombiephile and enjoy figure board games, you will really enjoy this.

What a fun game! My family loves zombies so I bought this game-extension pack. We also like to go to maps so it was perfect for us. It is a cross between a board game and a video game. You put a board piece (mall store) down on the table and then follow the directions (add zombies, etc) and then move your marker trying to capture 25 zombies or be home first rescued when the helipad card comes up. Be sure to get other packs to extend the fun! I also bought additional zombies so we had enough when the whole family plays.

This is the third expansion for the game Zombies!!! it's Zombies!!! 3 Mall Walkers 2nd ed and it's my favorite expansion of the set!It adds a whole mall to the play map. With endless possibilities the game is hours of fun! I'm so please with this game I bought all the expansions so don't be surprised if you see a review from me on each of them. If you are a fan of zombies this game is a must have! The art is wonderful. The figures well made. Don't forget to buy extra zombies cause you will need them and they are very inexpensive!

I'm a fan of the original and decided that I needed some variety so I bought this expansion pack. Overall I think it brings nice variety to the original and makes the gameplay more interesting. The action cards are more useful this time around and there are some changes to the rules.Minus one star for the lack of additional pieces and only including cards.

So I own both the original game and this expansion. To be honest, I love the first game, which this can be played as an expansion. However, by itself is a great 20-30 minute game with 2 players. Rules are pretty straight forward. Place board tiles as the game progresses, race to kill zombies or reach the helipad. And, as always, feel free to place some zombies between your friends and the helipad... HA!Needless to say, awesome game.

Mall walkers is zombies homage to george a romero's classic dawn of the dead. basically its zombies in a mall setting. lots of cool cards make this expansion very fun. if you enjoyed dawn of the dead and already have one of the base sets(1,4, 11, ,and soon to be 13
