The texture is soft and smooth on the skin without feeling too tight or restrictive. It stretches well and keeps its shape. Very supportive. There was no noticeable smell when opening, which is always a plus. The functionality is solid for both active use. Overall, I think it’s a great value for the cost considering the balance between thickness and breathability. The appearance is accurate and sleek too.

Capezio is the best in dance wear all around but there are a lot of differences to be made in the products and how and where they are made. This long sleeve wine color bodysuit is my 5th overall here. We have most all of the capezio products. It's important to note the country it is made in, the fabric whether it is cotton or nylon or nylon plus, etc... note the difference in pricing. A nylon will really not last too long and will really smell after one wear or during wear for most kids... adults. That's why the cottons are mostly higher priced and absorb sweat better. Take note of the country the make is in. I purchased the entire one leotard here on Amazon for about half price on sale at 26.00 and the back had unraveled quickly. It didn't feel like a capezio. But it said capezio. Be aware, world wide Capezio has the same knock offs like everything else so be vigilant in determining quality for dancers professional and novice everywhere. I purchased this 100 % nylon full bodysuit and use it interchangeably with another black one purchased on sale at 18.00 solely as a cold weather liner under lots of clothing and not as dance or workout wear knowing it will only last a winter if that. I hate snaps on bodysuits and if scooting the crotch to the side to pee is a problem this isn't your bodysuit. There are a lot of cheap cute bodysuits out there with snaps. If you are diehard Capezio you know winter wear is...Capezio... jeans ...vest...boots...go. But nylon will never be breathable but it is flattering. And makes your arms look good. And the maroon color is quite nice for the winter.

I bought the black long sleeved Capezio leotard. Just FYI, this does not have a shelf liner or a full liner. It is shiny, good stretch, nice shape to scoop neckline in front and back. It is a slippery material and will not stick to your body when dancing the way cotton/spandex blends do. You will need a foundation leotard or bra underneath. I got the medium and it fits beautifully. I’m 5’6”, 35” bust, 28.5” waist, 38” hip.

Great fit. Comfortable. High quality that you expect from a brand like Capezio.

I bought this as an adult (older, for sure--what they call, nicely, "silver swan") who decided to take a beginning adult ballet class. I already felt a bit foolish about doing this, but I still wanted to try (and I've loved it!). So, what to wear? Well, we could wear anything, really, but it is a serious class, so I wanted something that was serious to go with it. I looked online at a lot of possibilities, and had no experience as to what to pick. I wanted long sleeves and something that made me look, well, not ridiculous. This has been a beautiful choice. (I got lucky!). I normally wear a 10, and got the Large which is right. Medium would would have been tight, I think. It has a deep color, and a bit of a sheen, is thick-ish (in a good way, meaning not thin and cheap feeling), seems very strong, does well with washing, and I really enjoy wearing it. I would wear it as part of a normal wardrobe, for sure if I were not keeping it back for these dance classes. I may get another one. I don't have enough experience to be sure how it compares with this-brand or that-brand, but I really do like this and think you migh too, especially if you're in a situation like me, and especially if you want a nice burgundy color (or something that is not black).

I bought this leotard for my teenage dancing daughter. She's tall: 5'8", 122 lbs. It fits her perfectly. She usually takes a leotard in long torso but this one fits great. We got a size large just in case. It is a little loose in the waist area but it looks fine. Sleeves were plenty long enough. It is so soft and she says it's very comfy. She wears it underneath her colorguard costume for marching band. It keeps her warm enough and fits so well can't even tell it's under her costume. We are going to order it in black for her dance classes. Highly recommend this one. It's also lined in the front for added coverage. Wonderful product. Washes well in our front loader on delicate cycle and I hang it to dry. Would not recommend washing it in a top loader since it could get damaged by agitater. Also wouldn't wring it dry.

Me quedó muy bien, generalmente soy talla mediana y esta vez no fue la excepción. Se amolda bien al cuerpo, es cómodo, resistente y muy bonito. De las mejores marcas que he comprado.

I’m usually a small and I bought a medium which was too small. I had to pull the legs wider and rip the stitching to make it fit around the legs. It it quite tight all over. Then, the arms are really long. I’m short, but I think they would still be long on a taller person. The material is synrhetic. I’d probably only wear this if I had nothing else in my draw.
