Without this I would have struggled I needed a solution to keeping my leg elevated and comfortable after knee surgery. I had used a leg elevation pillow when I had my other knee done, but it failed me. It moved around and was hard as a rock. So I knew what I wanted this time: a leg elevating pillow that stayed in place and was soft enough, yet supportive enough to help me stay comfortable after the surgery. I already had the Sleepnitez wedge pillow and it has been really comfortable and durable. So when I saw they offer a leg elevation pillow I knew it would be the right one. I was not wrong. The height is just right (8”) and the 2" of memory foam make it soft enough to cradle your leg. It has a non slip base, so it does not keep sliding all over the bed. It also has handles at the side and these are useful when you want to reposition the pillow (sitting up to lying down etc). When I got the package, it came is a nice gift box, I opened it and it expanded almost instantly. They say we should leave it for 48 hours to expand, but I am sure mine was full sized long before then. Most importantly, there was no smell. After the operation, I found the pillow very comfortable and it certainly helped make the post operative period a lot more bearable. If you are looking for a leg elevation pillow, I would suggest you try this one

I ordered this pillow for my husband. He suffers with acid reflux, and he, sometimes, snores. I was hoping this pillow would help him. When I received it, I let it sit out for 24 hours because it comes vacuum sealed in a smaller packet. It, actually, returned to its original shape pretty fast. I washed the pillow cover on the low spin cycle and dried it in the dryer on low. The cover came out really nice. Well, my husband has slept on it for two nights now. He loves it! He has gotten the best nights’ sleep he has had in a long time. Well, I have acid reflux, also. And apparently, sometimes, I snore, also. So I tried sleeping on it. I love it! So much so, that I ordered another one for myself! I was afraid that it would hurt my shoulder because I am a side sleeper. It does not. It is very soft, yet supportive. It has 3 1/2 inches of high quality memory foam on top of the other foam, and the bottom, thinner edge, goes flush to the mattress. So it doesn’t hurt my ribs. It is very comfortable. Also, it is very good quality, and well made. I thought the 8” wedge might be too high, but it is not, at all. The memory foam forms to your body and is very soft and it is not too much of an incline. It is just right. I don’t really like ordering things online that I cannot try first, but I am so glad that I ordered these pillows. I highly recommend this pillow.

side sleeps and so soft and comfy. feeling... yet it does not work for me to read books in bed. (thus 4 stars) So my back hurts from that. If I find a use for this later.. may order... please NOTE: returning it says must have box.. now how are you going to put it back in the original box when it it fully opens to its shape?

This is a very comfortable pillow and I am glad I spent a few extra dollars for the Sleepnitez. I use another pillow on top of it and it does not slide. it is slightly oversized, so even if you tend to roll to a side once asleep - you will probably still stay elevated. It is very helpful if you suffer from GERD because even if you move around, you will likely maintain some elevation throughout the night. It is also great for watching TV in bed!

Several months ago I was diagnosed with LPR or “silent reflux.” I was encouraged to make some lifestyle changes — in diet and habits. One of the suggestions for beginning the healing process was to use a 8” wedge pillow which changes my whole sleeping dynamic. I was able to find such a pillow at Sleepnitez. In fact, they had a wide selection of wedge pillows. The pillow started its magic right away. The new angle at which I began to sleep prevented acid reflux. This initial boost from the pillow gave me confidence to then approach changes in my diet. What’s more, it’s a functional but very comfy pillow which has fulfilled its mission!

It is very well made and much better than the older foam wedges from years ago. It is long and flattens out at the bottom, giving you the best chance not to slide down. I registered my product, which includes watching videos to help you adjust properly. But I kept sliding down, no matter what. After a week, I was exhausted and grumpy. So sad it didn't work for me. I'd recently had a flare up of LPR and my ENT recommended a wedge, if I didn't have a recliner or a reclining bed. I hope it works for others, but not this customer.

worked well after eye surgery... a gradual incline which lifted my torso and head but not so high as I couldn't get a good night sleep

When i saw the box, I was worried that the pillow will be deformed since this is my biggest concern. However, the pillow is vaccum-packed and stored properly. After opened, the shape is being retained. I went to wash the cover before trying. It is comfortable and my sleep has been reasonably well. As I have been suffering from sleep apnea for years, it is still early to say if this help with my condition. Will recommend others to give this a try.

Used this pillow with my super refluxy baby in the crib. Absolute lifesavor!!
