Great solution for connecting TV to distributed audio
For longer runs where you don’t want to install a tosslink on rough instalation, just install a cat5/cat6 and the nice thing about it is that it fits easily behind the TV. Just be sure the TV to be used has 3.5mm jack for audio. Some of those 3.5mm jacks are rs232 com ports.
