328.12000 Sears Craftsman Floor Jack Seals, 1.5 Ton, Seal Replacement Kit, Quality Replacement Parts for Repairs

My old Sears floor jack quit working. My son in law told me I could get a repair kit of all the gaskets. I was skeptical because of its age. I found this kit and guaranteed it to fit. It arrived quickly and I replaced all the gaskets. The gasket that surrounds the piston was the hardest to repair. I had to fit it inside a thin metal “holder” and it wouldn’t fit. I damaged part of the seal and worried it would render the entire repair useless, but after brainstorming, I thought of placing the seal inside the piston canister first and then hammered the thin metal holder on top of it. This worked and the jack works despite the seals imperfections after my first unsuccessful attempts. I’m happy I don’t have to buy a new jack. The kit was expensive for what it was but cheaper than buying a new jack. I gave it 4 stars because of that one seal.

Did not have all the parts promised. Especially the rubber filler hole stopper.

I'll use this product to overhaul my ton and a half Sears jack.
