Proscan Progressive Scan DVD Player, Auto Load

I needed a replacement DVD Player after mine took a powder.Saw this at a very reasonable price so i bought it....it plays everything,store bought dvd's...dvd-r's...dvd+r's etc...but i myself like to fast forward through some boring parts of movies and it seems like this products fast forward button isnt so fast..it says 32X speed but trust me folks...it is more like 3X speed....now,i myself am kinda picky and like what i buy to behave a certain way and needless to say i am disappointed in this product..but it does play and am at least happy with that.But at a later time i will another DVD player to replace this one.The following is an update on this-I never took into account before purchasing the remote control.....the remote control play button gave out after 3 months of use,cannot seem to fix it or even get a new one-i would never buy another one of these again for now it wont even read alot of my dvb's

For the money you cant beat this DVD player. If you want to watch a DVD, well this will allow you to do that. Small enough that you can move it around to other TVs, garage, kids room, wherever. This would also be great in a vehicle or RV.

I like to watch a DVD while I workout. My workout usually isn't the length of an entire DVD, so I need to pause and come back later. This DVD will not hold where it is paused, it shuts off, then starts all over again. I had to switch out this DVD player for one that would stay paused for a longer time (I'm not sure how long it would pause for before shutting off, a few minutes maybe?) Other than that, it did work fine. I put it in the kids room for them to use.

Works great. Easy for my 92 year old father to use.

Bought to replace a CD player in my component rig. Sounds fine and plays anything I throw at it: CD, CD-R, CD-RW, etc. Because it's such a cheap unit, I'm not going to chalk up annoyances as issues. No display, poor quality remote, etc. It does what I bought it for.

I really like the DVD players. The only problem I have is that I also purchased the suggested HDMI cords only to fid out that the DVD player does not have HDMI jacks. Other than that they ( I bought a couple of them) have worked great so far.

Ordered Curtis DVD player as I have one already that I like. When order came it is a Sylvania DVD Player. It plays fine so not sending it back, but wished they would change the web site information to say Sylvania instead of Curtis.
