for photo paper, printer, dryer, home.......
I've tried a lot of things to lower static. Endust has polished in it and there are a couple of other clothes cling products, all about $9 a tiny can.I tried this brand in their large aerosol can and it does work, without the added cleaners (I think they make a staticide with cleaner if you want that). I mount some photos on foam core, and with cats around, the paper is like magnets. You can spray an area, but I've applied to the printer in a light spray and the room with the printer. Instantly, no static. I have a shop bench brush also with the spray on it. It takes a tiny amount. But, this worked so well, have put on a sofa and bed cover, and less cat hair. A spray in the dryer also aids dryer sheets.I think the aerosol is good for most people, as you can get a fine film. But, this gallon is so inexpensive for me this was the way to go. Put in a spray bottle, it is cheap. The bottle arrived from Amazon in a heavy sealed bag, no leaks.Photo printing from inkjet: without the spray the the photo exits the printer and you can see the cat hair flying fast to the print, as if magnetic. And, the hair embeds in the wet inks permanently. This stops all that. Have also noticed less dust in home in air, and this has helped manage some of the cat hair.

Great for fabric static control
This completely cured my static electricity problem on a fabric couch and new carpet. Later I tried a different brand (ElectraSolve) after I ran out of Staticide and will never do that again. ElectraSolve left a sticky residue on the carpets and I had to rent a carpet cleaner to remove it. I bought 2 more gallons of Staticide and will never use anything else now.

We just spray a fine mist. Even works on the plastic wraps we ...
I reload ammunition both as a home hobby and commercially so we had to have something that worked. After trying everything from grounded rubber mats to dryer wipes, we never could fully lick the problem until I came across this product! Not only does it keep gunpowder dry and the equipment it's in, I know use it though the home so the cat doesn't jump through the roof. It's been several years now and the product last at least six months. We redo everything every six months as a habit but it might last longer. The gallon jug is much more affordable and a little goes a long way. We just spray a fine mist. Even works on the plastic wraps we use on ammo pallets. Look no further, this puts an end to static and does not color or affect carpet or hard floors...lightly spray and let dry. Hope this helps....

Tame your Super Powers!
This stuff WORKS! Our office have rack upon racks of servers and the electrical charge had lightning bolts shoot out of our hands...jk... but it was really bad. We have a grounding issue. I sprayed two coats of this stuff on our carpets and frequently touched metallic surfaces. It's been over 2 weeks and I glad to say I'm not longing Storm from X-Men!

So far, so good!
Tonight, I received a > .5 inch spark after walking across our wool family room carpet and touching the metal stereo equipment rack. Looks like a disaster ready to happen. Put some of this stuff in a pump spray bottle and applied it lightly on the paths my wife, I and the dog take. An hour later, I purposefully shuffled across the carpet, touched the rack and no spark. Despite the fact that our house is still closed up (46 outside), there was little if any odor. Let's see how long it lasts.

An amazing product - - ended static zaps in our house.
Am quite impressed with this product. We had a terrible static problem in our wool carpets this winter and were afraid we'd damage electronic devices with our painful static pops. The dog was not happy - - he was shying away from us after having been zapped so many times. A rather light spraying of the carpet worked incredibly well - - absolutely no static pops for at least a week.

Meh
Based on previous reviews I was hoping the effects would last longer. I live in a very dry house. The winter is so unmanageable that I get nose bleeds from the dryness. The static shocks I get from walking around the house can sometimes make you jump. I applied this to all material surfaces (not hardwood or the like) and it worked...but only for a few hours. Mine is an extreme case so it may work better for you.

Great product!
This really works! It doesn't smell or stain. It lasts several weeks, in conjunction with my evaporative humidifier, it significantly cuts out the static electricity in our house. I know when I need to reapply because we start to get shocked again. lol
