I live in a really non-ethnically diverse part of the world. It's often hard to find quality ingredients since everything is shipped in and people buy what's cheapest not necessarily quality. A long time ago I found REAL cinnamon in a small Asian Market and haven't seen it since. This cinnamon is so nice. It smells amazing and tastes phenomenal. I use it in a golden milk recipe I drink in the evenings and it adds this wonderful complexity to the drink. It breaks apart easily, but doesn't crumble. The pieces are much thinner and nicer than the fake cinnamon carried in most chain stores. I'm so happy I found this and even more happy I bought it despite being wary of buying spices online.

If you’re looking for authentic MALABAR cinnamon, this is the real deal! The label says it’s from the evergreen cinnamon tree. But to me, it’s so similar to “Malabar” that maybe it’s just called by a different name? It’s very hard to find so I’m totally chuffed that I located this product. It’s super fresh and very high quality. What’s the difference between this and other cinnamons? It’s subtle but if you have a sensitive palate you will note that this cinnamon smells like a heavenly, earthy incense and has deep, complex flavor notes. It’s not harsh like Vietnamese, and definitely distinct from Ceylon. Thank you Rani brand for this! I’ll be a forever customer. ❤️

Very good for making authentic Indian food. Set your pressure-cooker to saute setting first to melt some ghee, then add flat cinnamon like these, along with whole black peppercorns, green and black cardamoms, whole cumin seeds, cloves, star anise, ginger-garlic paste, Indian bay leaves, salt, some dried red chilies... fry until the onions are translucent, then dump in some long-grain basmati rice (rinse and soak while prepping everything else), and close the lid! Clean the kitchen while the pressure cooker does its magic. When it beeps, top with cilantro and enjoy! Add a bag of frozen veggies for a little change of pace. If you are okay with non-veg, substitute 50% chicken broth with 50% water. DELICIOUS

This is true cinnamon! The flavour is superb. I add a small piece to my curries to give my dishes an added aroma. Grind the cinnamon bark and add a pinch to your coffee for that extra punch!

I have never had a bad experience with this brand. The packaging is also very attractive. Highly recommend.

Loved the packaging, was wrapped in saran wrap for extra caution, came in the container, and when I opened the container, sealed, once seal broken, beautiful aroma of cinnamon. I will be buying this product again.
