Good detail on the figures. Box was crushed when delivers but product was in damaged.

MB makes some of the most detailed mass production figures and this is no exception. Everything fits well. I did have to do some filling in and sanding but that's normal. I recommend this set to anyone.

MB provides a large range of uniquely interesting figure sets. There are other makers, and these boxed sets are not cheap, but I keep going back for others!

I have bought three of these kits now and with a little imagination these figures can be used in many situations not only Pow's, i have a german ambulance model and they make great 'walking wounded'. One other point, another reviewer mentioned the pow's shouldn't be wearing belts but there is a famous photo of some 60,000 german pow's being paraded through Moscow in which several of the front row are clearly wearing belts so Masterbox can easily claim they were correct.

Can't go wrong with Master Box kits.

Considering that far more troops are captured in war than are killed or wounded, it's surprising how rarely POWs have appeared in 1:35 plastic. By rights there should be hordes of surrendering Italians available but until this Masterbox release, only Dragon's 'Georgian Legion' and a few individual figures in other sets were dedicated to the subject. Masterbox offers its trademark 'diorama-in-a-box' (usually based on real-life photos) with five disheveled Germans, stripped of their kit and nursing wounds, trudging along with their Russian guard. The figures are finely sculpted, with suitably dejected faces, separate greatcoats, tunic flaps etc and generally fit together well, although some mould seams need cleaning up. The ankle boots, gaiters and battledress worn by one chap restrict them to the latter part of WW2 but notwithstanding the guard, they'll do for either the eastern or western fronts. Masterbox have really established themselves as THE most imaginative plastic figure manufacturer over the last few years, and this set is no exception.

This has to be one of the best WWII figure kits on the market, the individual soldiers have so much detail in their clothes and faces, can't believe the cost, ..........to cheap!
