Great for a Dad!
I’m a slightly overweight 43 year old Dad trying to keep up with my kids. I’m not Alex Honnhold or Chris Sharma. Climbing out of bed seems like a 5.12 some mornings. So I wanted a slightly tight shoe but not so tight that I’m uncomfortable. Normally, I wear a 9.5 shoe so I bought the size 10 of these. Without socks they are perfect. If you are planning on wearing socks then get a 10.5. If you are a professional climber who needs their feet to stick to 2mm chips of rock then get the 9.5.

5 felt very comfortable but i just want super snug shoes
I am used to wear climbing shoes tight. My street shoe size is 9.5 - 10.Based on others' review, I ordered twice for sizes 11.5 and 10.5. They felt too large.10.5 felt very comfortable but i just want super snug shoes. To those beginners, I want to recommend not buying climbing shoes that are too comfortable. Shoes usually end up stretch and they will become too large for your feet.I received my 3rd order (size 10) yesterday and it was perfect.I am afraid it will still become too large later but I havent gone to climbing for few years and gained some weight. So these shoes will be good until I get in better shape.I am going to wear it today after work. I will update my review after I wear them for awhile.

Comfortably padded
I wear a street shoe size between 7.5 and 8. I got these at 8.5 and they fit perfectly. Not too snug where my toes are cramping but tight enough I have a good grip. A couple of other climbers at the gym commented on how comfortably padded they looked in comparison to their own. For the price with the padding, it's a great beginner shoe! Just be sure to get your size right!

Quality Shoes
I am a beginning rock climber and purchased these shoes after reading other reviews. When I brought them to the rock climbing gym the staff gushed over them and made a point of telling me they were really good shoes. Definitely gave me confidence that these were a good investment. I am very happy I read the other reviews because these do run SMALL. I usually wear a size 6 or 6.5. I ordered a size 7.5. My toes definitely still curled as they should... almost too much. I felt like my foot was cramping a little bit. I probably could have gone up to a size 8. I've only used these once since my purchase, but I definitely felt like I got good grip on the rocks.

After 32 days of usage, there is an open seam in front of shoe. I contacted amazon, they allowed me to return.
This is a good shoes. Be ware the size, my sneaker size is 10. The size of 11 is a little bit small. I reordered size of 11.5, it is a snug fit, work well for my climbing.

great deal for an active climbing gym climber
Fits tight as expected. Purchased these to avoid paying $4 daily fee to rent shoes at the climbing gym for a member that goes 3-5 times a week.

Great for climbing outdoors!!
Great shoe for a great price! The sizes are sized for climbing, which means that even if you order your usually sized shoe it will be tight almost a size smaller. If you go to the Q&A section on Amazon they explain the sizes. I believe that the sizes listed are in men’s but all of this is explained in the Q&A section.I am a women’s 8.5 and I didn’t want the shoes to be super tight so I ordered the men’s 8.5 from the website. They fit perfectly with socks and are great for top roping outside. My boyfriend is a men’s 10 and ordered the men’s 10. He wanted the tight fitting climbing shoes so they fit perfect. If you were not wanting a tight fit I would order up.We mostly climb outdoors. So far, our shoes have performed very well in a variety of conditions. We have used them on damp rocks too. These are my favorite pair of climbing shoes that I have owned and I am confident that they will last years into the future. They are very durable and comfortable. Easy to put on and take off. They are also lightweight.

Great shoes, very comfortable fit
Great shoes, very comfortable fit, great to climb, and love the colors. Alas, get smelly far sooner than the more expensive $120-a-pair shoes you'd find at REI.

Pretty decent
Overall I was scared by many of the reviews complaining about size and warning to go a size up. My feet are size 9.5, so I went with 10s. Honestly they seem like an accurate sized fit, I feel like I could have fit into a 9.5 just fine, the 10s are just slightly loose which isn't quite what you want for a climbing shoe, you want them to be tight, so I would go with your exact size. The shoe itself is good, decent for climbing. The one downside is it does seem to wear away a little quickly, but it isn't falling apart. I've been using them twice a week for 2 months now, and I will probably get a few more months out of them but I can start seeing the signs of wear on the toes and inside edges. You get what you pay for, it's a good starter shoe.

They don't last long enough
Update...after only 3 and a half months they already have a hole in them :( I feel like for the price they should last longer than that. Disappointing

Great Value
Great climbing shoes for the price. Slightly better than generic rentals, but do wear out quickly. Good for beginners
