Great working package!
Just what I needed to have on me, the light helps illuminate the key hole which is great when your eye sight isn't like it used to be lol.For its size the lights one on the key side and the other on the back end of key work really well.

Quality
This product is great for corrections. Helps when inmates are not cooperating and multiple officers have to restrain in dimly lit areas.

Lighted cuff key.
Easy to find key hole in low to dark light.

Plenty bright to get the job done, but needed adjustment
Initial inspection made it clear that something was up with the lights in this. There is one "button", two lights. When pushing the button, one light would come on solid, the other would flicker - unless pressing really hard. I tried pushing on different areas on the button, but that didn't change the behavior much. Both lights activating at the same time, when you are only ever going to be using one side at a time, seems like a design flaw.I removed the three screws and took a look inside. There are two LED bulbs. One "leg" from each LED is straight, and goes under the two batteries (making contact with one side of the coin cell batteries) and the other leg from each is bent at an angle and remains on top of the batteries, with a plastic ring keeping the legs from making contact until you give enough pressure to push the legs to make contact with the battery.I ended up bending the top leg of each just a little bit more, and trimmed between 1/8"-1/4" from the ends of that side only. I experimented with giving very slight bends towards the battery, until I was satisfied. Now the lights on the key activate separately, by pushing on the side of the button closest to each light, and I was also able to adjust the amount of pressure needed to activate them. Perfect now! These look like simple LED diode lights, and it makes me wonder if I get the right size and proper voltage ones, if I could change the color of these lights.Anyway, I wish this thing worked like this right out of the box, but I needed an easy little project to work on this evening.

Convenient
I work at night, so this makes it very convenient to be able to see the keyhole.

Highly recommended
I own a few pairs of LE handcuffs (all ASP), and this flashlight/key combo is priceless. No longer do I have to bother someone to "light me up," or sacrifice control of the person in custody because I have one hand tied up holding my flashlight. It has a separate light on each end, so you can see whenever your uncuffing or double-locking. The only thing that could perhaps be considered a "flaw" is that there are not two separate buttons for each light. Thus, when you turn on the light for uncuffing, the light for double-locking also turns on and shines in your eyes. This isn't a huge problem, but if you work the night shift, it can affect your night-vision. **UPDATE: As you can read in the comment section of my review, Ivy states that in current models, the single button may now be used to control each light separately.**

Very versatile
I use this for much more than the intended purposes. Anything that you might need a small pick or tool to open something, or if you need a small amount of light like with a door lock.

Dual purpose hand cuff key
This is very well built. The LED's a bright enough to see and the face that the are two of them makes it even better. There is a light at each end so that you can see while double locking the cuffs and the other end when unlocking the cuffs. The lights are pretty bright and could be used to temporarily blind someone. The only con if you want to call it that is the light are momentary lights meaning you have to hold the power button down for the lights to work. This could potentially be hard to use the light and the key at same time depending on the situation that you find yourself in.Over all I am very please with the item and would buy it again.
