I’ve purchased this for my best friend to get in & out of his bathtub safe & easy. The picture is a little off, it looks like the handlebar is small, which it’s not. Just an optical illusion due to taking the picture from above & not at the same height. My friend is ecstatic about this easy to mount, sturdy, movable without damage to tub safety bar. He even sent a picture to his sister, encouraging her to get one too. The grip is sturdy and safely mounted on the tub. It came well made & packaged. An excellent buy at a “steal”. If you’re getting on in age, have a disability or one of your loved ones does, get one for their safety & your peace of mind. They may not need it right now but it will be there as a precaution. It is easy to move to the position needed no matter how often with the strong screw keeping the grab bar on the tub without causing any damage. I highly recommend this product!

Great grab bar to provide safety, support and stability when you get out of the shower. I stalled one in both bathrooms of my home. I moved into this new place. Both bathtubs are very deep and the sides of the tub are high. There are no built in grab bars around inside the shower stall area above the tubs. I am not handicapped and I don't want to be. This is why I installed these grab bars. Even younger, able people can slip and fall in the shower/tub. This is an added layer of safety. I recommend this sturdy quality product. It's well worth the money. And at a minimum, it saves me from bruising my shins when I am getting out of the shower. I highly recommend this product. Very easy to install.

Great product - easy installation and very secure. Elderly mother uses it for getting into bathtub and also for stability when using toilet independently (as her toilet is next to bathtub)

This was very sturdy and I was impressed with it, but it was a little slippery for me since I’m kind of handicapped right now and I didn’t wanna take a chance of falling at first I couldn’t get it to fit the tub but then when I had somebody put in it, it slipped it didn’t stay still it’s still a great idea but not for me. It’s both my knees and I have to have something really sturdy. I already have something on the wall and I just thought this would help but it didn’t work out for me but thank you anyway.

We purchased this grab bar for a relative visiting us who needed a little extra assistance in the bathroom, and it worked out really well. It was easy to install and felt secure once in place. I also liked that it provided extra stability without needing anything permanent. It gave our family member more confidence and support while staying with us, which made a big difference. Overall, a simple but very helpful product to have for guests, recovery situations, or added bathroom safety.

My husband is partially disabled, has bone on bone in his left hip, and has trouble getting in and out of the tub to get a shower. We had suction cup grab bars on the tub enclosure walls but they were not secure enough to help him in, and they kept falling off the tub enclosure. We don't have the finances to convert to walk in shower and I was searching for a way to help him get in and out of the tub. I was searching for mounted grab bars and came across this device. I was surprised how heavy it was, it is very sturdy. It took all of 2 minutes to secure it to the tub, and my husband was able to get in and out of the shower with ease. This gives both of us peace of mind. I have a fiberglass tub, and read the instructions where it says do not over tighten so you don't crack the tub. I purchased one for my mom as well because she too feels unsafe getting in and out of her tub. I would recommend this to anyone who needs assistance getting in and out of a tub.

The edge of our soaking bath tub is 3" when we clamped this unit on the edge it was not a solid grip until I came across a small piece of styrofoam 3/4" thick which we installed on opposite side of the crank. This fix made this unit just perfect and secure. At first we installed the handle bar on the wall side of the tub on the left side just to hide it out of view. where it just was not helpful in getting out of the tub safely. I am right handed so what was I thinking ?? putting this thing out of site and out of mind. I kept taking showers and not enjoying my lovely tub. I came down with a lousy summer cold and switched this tool to the right side of the tub being desperate to soak heal and relax in a tub of lovely healing epsom salt bath. This handle bar is a heaven sent. I can not believe I missed out on my soaking for over a year because I could not safely get out of the tub. For me this was definitely a matter of " age before beauty." Maybe more like mind over matter. I just had something against having this handle bar sticking up out of this lovely tub in my perfect looking bath room. I feel pretty dumb about my perception. I think it would be beyond perfect if this handle bar was a little bit low key. I understand some people need this bar to be tall, But maybe this company could make a low and a high version of this product. If you are looking for a safe exit from a slip and slide tub situation, I highly recommend this product. You need to find your comfort zone by how to best use this wonderful poduct. Thank you.

This has been the best thing I've bought in years. It's sturdy and attaches easily to the side of my tub. It's made getting in and out for showering so much easier and safer. I highly recommend it.

Cette barre d'appui est très solide et est d'excellente qualité . Meme si elle est lourde, elle se fixe facilement sur le bain et reste en place. Vraiment très utile pour se tenir afin de rentrer dans le bain.

Delivery was prompt, and this attaches well to both my ancient steel tub and my newer fiberglass tub. Super sturdy and also helps as a grab bar for the toilet, beside the tub.

I like it because I need it I dislike it because it's rusty !! It seems that someone returns it after trial and it was wet !! and was kept in package without drying it !! I'll not return it because I need it
