It arrived on time as stated. The unit does not come with a micro sd card, so I purchased a 32gb one with the purchase of the camera. Be sure to fully charge the camera prior to use. I first attempted the motion activation mode and worked fine. There really isn't a delay in activation when movement is detected. After about 12 hours of use I checked the videos and seemed to work fine. This camera doesn't have night vision so the nighttime recordings were choppy and dark. I then recharged the camera to see how long the battery lasted in full 24/7 record mode and was able to record 14 hours straight before the battery died. Not bad!!This unit does not have sound recording and therefore will NOT record conversations.Overall this is a great low profile camera for video recording only. the software that needs to be downloaded off of brick house security is easy to use and will allow some variations in recording. This is a good plug and play camera.

Decent camera for the price. Does not record audio. The image is acceptable. The computer software for configuring the camera seems stable. The on board mic is only for triggering video recording when operating in that mode. The narrow field of view makes it better for longer shots than for covering an entire room. The camera will easily corrupt the microSD card when stopping/starting recording. I have implemented the practice of formatting/erasing the card with my MacPro's disc utility software before each use. Operating the camera with confidence is a little tricky given the lack of visual status input. But you'll get it figured out.Bottom line: It's a decent camera for the price. You can get a better more solid product, but you will pay substantially more.

Works very well. Its not blu ray but pictures are clear. Low lux filming worked better than expected. I had no problems downloading setup software. Also videos are avi so windows media player will play them. I actually caught a thief at the office with this. I used the 32G scan disk. It was plug and play. I used the motion sensor setting. Ran out of battery before the 32G. Motion detection worked great.

I needed this product, emergency!! I usually don't write a bad review, but this company with its ignorant employees took about 10 days of my time to helping me to understand and set up something so simple! No where says that you have to have a SD card class 10! after spending 10 days and hours on it, calling them 20 times and in total three hours on the phone with their "Customer No Service" finally after I asked for a supervisor, we understood where the problem is.... I told them I bought this from Amazon and they said we can't find you!! OK!! Then here I Am!!! Now you can find me!!! The management said they will call me after 10 minutes, they never did!!So, I purchased from Zetta Z12, they say the SD Card Class required. I sat up the device in less than 5 min!!! and worked perfectly!!Of course, I return this one as the company has no customer service as well as bunch of ignorant/ poor product knowledge sitting there assuming that I should know everything instead of them knowing there product!!

I have used this to keep an eye on the house while gone, see what the dog is doing while I am away, and if my guest are going through my things when I am not at home. There are a million uses. The batteries last long enough, sometimes for days. It keeps a lot of video. The downside is that although it is not too obvious (oh that's just a charger), it can be noticed although it hasn't around here. Also, night time videos are pretty poor, people walking are like ghost images. Great pictures in better light though. I would purchase again.

I purchased this item several weeks ago to monitor my front door and been using it every day on motion sensor mode, sometimes 5-6 hours at a time, sometimes longer perched inside my window facing my door. It does record clear, smooth images during the day and rather muddled after dark (with light coming thru the window next to the door), so at least I can see something, if not identify who. I wish the motion sensor mode ran for shorter than 5 minutes once it senses motion. Sometimes I get false reads (like from a passing car reflected in my storm door or shadow of waving branches), but at least I know it's working. I find it needs to be charged on a daily basis or else I get the red light (which supposedly means the battery is low or that it's not reading the memory card). It doesn't hold the correct date time stamp for more than a couple of days. So I have to run it through 'set up' (a simple procedure once I understood how it works), nonetheless an inconvenience, in order to maintain the correct date time stamp. It's tricky to know if it's on or off. Once or twice it turns itself off while I'm running it, so when I come home, I think I'm turning it off (before loading it to my computer) and in fact I'm turning it on. Often I get an error message when I plug in into my computer, saying 'there's a problem with this drive, scan and fix it now' when in fact it runs fine. That concerns me. Has a 90 day warranty think. I'm holding my breath for how it lasts. I'm hoping to find something better, but this is working in a pinch. If I could be assured it's not gonna die on me at any moment, I might buy another one for the window facing my driveway. Perhaps I'm expecting too much for my $100 but this seems like a lot to me. I do like the small size.

Works grate! The manual is vague but will not hold that agents the camera. What i found help full was the youtube video reviews. I watched the videos before purchasing. Watching the youtube videos is what sold to to buy the Cascara Micro Camera.

Works great. Video a little bit grainy but definitely a worthwhile product if you intend to catch somebody in the act. Nothing says f you as much as video proof right after they deny it.
