I bought the white set to use at a baby shower. They were beautiful! They weren't see through at all, complete solid white. As far as some of the reviews regarding the thickness of the plates - Uh, look how many plates you're getting for the price... I'm sure everyone chose these plates because of the style and unbeatable price. There's no way to get frisbee-thick plates for this price. Come on. The smaller plates served the purpose of holding cake and fruit with zero problems and the large plates held sandwiches, chips, dips, etc. I didn't see a single person struggling. I did see where someone commented about beans and brisket... That's some pretty heavy food. Use both hands to hold the plate if it's that big of an issue. For the style and price, you really can't go wrong with this set. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat!

Save your money!! Absolutely and unconditionally the worst product I have ever purchased from Amazon!!! We were just about ready to eat when we unwrapped the large plates and found that there was no possibility that they would support any food upon them. We ordered them for our daughters chemo therapy head shaving party and had to suddenly run to the store and get plain paper plates for a fraction the cost. We used the dessert plates but had to double them up to make them at all useful and we used 1/2 the cups that were small but at least useable to some degree. We thought it would be nice to have the plates match the color theme of the ovarian cancer ribbon teal, but these are complete and utter TRASH!!!

The plates and cups are of exquisite quality but they set is half of what I was promised and I am very upset with this! I have a party this Sunday and I was relying on receiving 48 of each as advertised and there are only 24 of each set that were sent! What are half my guest supposed to eat off of? Displeased

I am very disappointed. I purchased these plates because they have a beautiful design and it falsely represents what they are supposed to be which is “heavy duty”. They are also Somewhat see through. I placed one piece on my dinning table cover and you could see the print.They will hold fruit and salad but don’t expect thick plastic, they are equivalent to 99 cent store/dollar tree paper plates. I wish I would have been able to use them.Because of the misleading description literally on the packaging, I’m giving it 1 star.

I bought two orders of these one in turquoise or teal and one in gold. The cups are not as displayed. In fact if you ever saw a red Solo cup it is that but in whatever color you chose and smaller. I was really looking forward to the cup pictured which has half of it in clear and half of it in the color in a unique design. Also the plates that came with it are so flimsy. I feel so frustrated because I thought they were going to be so much more durable than that. Also I was under the impression that I was going to get a set of 144 dinner plates and then 144 lunch plates and 144 cups. Instead what I received was for packs of plates numbering 12 plates in each pack in the various sizes any pack of 50 cups. The Solo cups. The picture and description seems deceptive. They are not terrible just not what was expected. This I could have picked up from a local discount store. Especially for the quality. Now I have to decide if I'm going to return them in order elsewhere and take a chance of being disappointed from someone else or just order more of something that I'm not happy with so I can have an even looking set SMH. This will not happen again.
