Work great if you know how to hook them up and know what amp hooked them up to.
These work great with a 1k 4ohm full amp, of course you just switch it to LPF. Adjust the amp enough and they Will kick pretty hard in your stock speaker location on your rear of your trunk if your trunk calls for 6.5". I've played them pretty hard for weeks for a good 30-60 minutes or so a piece every other day. Haven't had any issues with them yet unlike other reviews. Pretty good for the money. Definitely good budget subs.

EXACTLY what I expected from $35 6.5" Subwoofers!!!
These are EXACTLY what I expected from $35 6.5" Subwoofers. They are perfect if you're just wanting to add more bass. My son said he wanted more bass in his Charger SXT, and now he's 100% HAPPY. I paired it with a Lanzar 1000W 2-Channel Amp and it is exactly what he needed and wanted. Well worth the money!

6.5 and 15" review!
The 15: So i ordered 4 of these on Parts Express. And before i go any further, I'm not like half the people on here. I know its a LANZAR woofer, So you need to be extra careful with them. Lanzar doesnt state the RMS of the woofer, only the peak. And the people with EXPERIENCE would know, lanzar's words arent good for anything. 2000 watts is the peak, So for those people who say "i only put 8000 clipping pyle watts and it only lasted for 1 seconds hur dur this is crap", is wrong. This isnt a bad woofer, but i would only expect it good for 300 clean watts. No more. The foam surround colour fades in the sunlight fast and it has a tiny spider, Now, most of the time, the fading surround dosnt count against performance, The small spider doesn't allow a lot of Xmax. Now, Lanzar is famous for sending woofers that aren't good. Just like my 6.5 lanzar sub, my friends 6.5 lanzar sub, and one or two of my 15" subs, the voice coil isnt 100% glued... AGAIN. And it makes clicking sounds just like the 6.5. When you take off the magnet boot, the double stacked magnets are odd. One is short and wide while the other is tall and skinny, Almost like they forgot they needed to make a new magnet but got lazy so they used a megnet for a existing sub. (it dosnt bother me, but if you where to invert it and have the boot off, it would look gross and dosnt affect the performance at all.) However, its not that bad of a sub. Its cheap, Magnet size is alright, and if you take off the magnet boot, you get better cooling for the coil. UPDATE FOR THE 15" i got a 2000 watt rms amp and i can smell burning coils when i turn it up. i have 4 of these, so 2000/4=500 watts per sub. It cant handle 500 watts rms clean without clipping. Fail on lanzar. I really thought lanzar would maintain the awesome-ness they had in the 90's, but i guess not. They fell to the crap quality like a lot of old audio company's did. R.I.P old lanzar. I ordered this on the 8th of June and it came at the 17th. shipping was 35 dollars not including the woofer. When i got it, half the voice coil was separated from the spider. so i took my heat gun and blasted it and attempted to repair it. when i realized the voice coil was only half glued. i'll hit it with some 2 part epoxy and hopfully it will stick then. you can hear the woofer here: [...]

I'm amazed.
I'm old school: 1996 old school... I had 10s and a Punch 45, 15s and a Denon 1000-watt amp; I built boxes and spent a lot of time and money damaging my ears as a Gen X youth. When I saw these 6.5, I remembered the name brand from back in the day and decided to give it a shot. I built a chambered 6th order box and stuck these in there. I was startled by the amount of air they could move and the amount of Bass they could produce. I have them with a 500 watt cheap amp running them at 2 Ohm and they Hit Hard. These work as well as some old school 10's. They are Cheap and they are small. If you need the space and a good deal I highly recommend getting a set and light them

Powerful Bass for the Price
The Lanzar MAXP Max Pro subwoofer delivers strong and punchy bass, especially considering its compact size and affordable price. Once installed, it noticeably improves the overall sound system, adding depth and clarity to low frequencies. The build quality feels solid, and it handles power well without distortion when properly tuned.

NOT FOR DOORS!
I was hoping that since I am short on space, that I could make subs work in my doors. I was mistaken. I was getting very little, weak bass, with 150w rms due to a lack of enclosure in the door. Even if I would take the time to seal all of the openings, the cubic footage would be too vast for any quality bass. I wanted to try to have some stronger higher end bass than what my midbass produced, in the rear doors, in order to bridge between my sub box and front stage, but these only rattled the doors. The cone extention on these is really impressive, and in a proper enclosure, these should really provide some good bass in a tight space. They only require .25 to .75 cubic feet. If your OEM location provides a built in enclosure, you might be able to get some performance out of these if you amplify them.

Buyer beware, it is a deep mounting Bass Driver
Great addition to adding a deeper bass response to a stock vehicle setup. I would recommend a professional installation. Bass was excellent performance with quality craftsmanship for a size of 6.5 inch sub-woofer. As a bass driver the only clarity is the bass pound in your car with such a small enclosure. Definitely worth buying as an upgrade to performance in audio.

6.5 Inch subwoofer
I have read all the reviews on these 6.5 inch subs. Being in the car audio industry for 15 years most common reason these blow is due to underpowering the driver causing distortion, or not allowing the speaker to break in properly before driving these to full capacity. If the speaker fell apart or was doa, then thats a different story. I am expecting delivery of this driver today and have already built the ported enclosure to specs for this. I will be running a 300 watt rms Rockford Fosgate amplifier to drive this woofer and expect, after break in period, to be completely satisfied. Remember, correct amplification gives you the ability to control the driver. More power tuned correctly as apposed to underpowering and distorting the driver will ensure longevity. And always allow the speaker to break in at low volume before you apply any kind of moderate to full volume to these.

I needed a couple of small subbies and these fit the bill nicely. I fitted them into Atrend Bbox Pro Audio Tuned 6.5" Speaker Enclosures and they sound good.
