Works great if you still have the purifier.
I opted to replace the filter in an ancient purifier I have rather than buying a new device. The filter catches a lot of dust, and I noticed that my home office is much easier to manage. I highly recommend having a carbon pre-filter. Just buy a roll and cut it yourself. It is far cheaper.

Love my Hunter Air Cleaners
OK the filters are expensive at 15.00 each x two air cleaners. I purchased two to have extra they don't last long and need to bechanged every few months but they work if you keep the cleaners on low all of the time. Hunter has great products.
