Generic Vacuum Filter, Compatible with Dirt Devil Vacuum Filters for Central Vacuum, Replaces 8106-01

Fit perfectly on my Dirty Devil Pro Series 990. My central vac is back to working like a charm!

I was surprised to buy this for less than 1/2 what the local dealer wanted. When I changed it out I found the Vacuflow 550 came new with the exact same made in China filter installed. So, very pleased with my purchase! Not crazy about made in China, but the quality here is fine. Fits perfect as it is the same exact original filter.

Works good, perfect fit.... At this price, delivered for free with prime, I will definitely be returning for more filters in the future.

I have used this filter the last three times I have changed the central vac filter and find it to be every bit as good as the brand filter. I used to buy the brand filter at a local vacuum store, but now I just order from Amazon. More convenient and less expensive.

The product was fine except for the fact that it didn't fit my central vac even though my vac was on the list of vacs that it stated this filter would fit. It looks exactly like my filter but the seal around the opening where you attach it to the vac is too thick and so I couldn't turn the disc to hold it in place. I ended up having to take the one from my old filter and replace the one that came with it, however these seals are glued so it tore when I was taking it off. I have purchased some foam and hopefully I can make a new one. I would not buy this product again unless I can get the foam that I bought to work as a seal. My vac is a Royal CS600. It shouldn't be on the list of vans you can use this filter for because these filters don't fit this vac.

Sorry I’m about to get weird....but this item was LIFE CHANGING! House is 2.5 yrs old w/ Dirt Devil cyclone central vac. Slowly the vacuum had less suction. Use to suck up anything, leaves, dog food, you name it! This last month it was so bad our cleaning lady that comes 2x a month said if we didn’t get it fixed she couldn’t do her job! I had to agree, it was barely sucking up ANY of our dogs hair. I had emptied the DD cyclone bin before but thought I needed to call a pro to fix it further as it didn’t help the suction issue. After googling a bit, I realized we were suppose to CHANGE the filter - and every 6 months if you have a pet!! After changing the nasty filter, the vacuum was like NEW!!! Yep, you know you’ve turned into your MOM when the vacuum fix was the highlight of your month!!!!! Love this product!!!

This item does not fully lock on our central vac, but is still usable. For the cost savings, I think we will prob stick with this brand.

This was the correct filter for my Royal vacuum system, but was extremely hard to get into place. It seemed to be just a tiny bit narrower at the top than the Royal filters. I would not buy it again.
