CTA Tools 9225 E-Series U-Joint Star Socket - E8

Great tool! Allows you to get into a tighter spot. Used to replace corroded tone ring on driver's side rear of a 2008 Chrysler 300C AWD. It made getting to the hub bolts easier. I put an o-ring around the universal joint part to help hold from flopping and that helped a lot. always love it when a special tool makes a job go better. Especially when it's not priced abusively.

I am happy with the quality of these sockets. They are made well. They are good for the price I paid. I have been a professional technician for 14 years. I know high quality tools, cheap tools, and everything in between. These sockets are made in Taiwan, and while they may not brandish a Mercedes logo, I am quite happy with the craftsmanship.

Awesome little swivel for my BMW

Essential for replacing oil filter housing gasket on a 2008 BMW 528i. Worked perfectly.

Used these to take a front wheel bearing off. Made it easy to get at the bolts. I put a lot off torque on these to get the bolts loose. Well made and strong.

If you are needing to move out your Porsche 997 AC compressor for such engine maintenance as AOS replacement, this swivel E12 TORX socket is perfect for all three of those hard-to-access bolts- even the blind one in the back with a pipe blocking access. The one in front, on the right side also has a bunch of pipes in the way, and this swivel E12 TORX fit perfectly between them.

Without this flex socket l couldn't have removed the coils on my Mercedes-Benz M256 engine so l could replace the spark plugs. Good quality e socket.
